2016 - It’s a Wrap! As this is our final newsletter for the year, I would like to

take the opportunity to thank all of our families,

students, staff and wider community for their support,

confidence and efforts in making this school such a

great place for everyone.

Please enjoy Christmas and take some time to relax

and enjoy the beautiful area in which we live. Have a

safe and happy New Year!

We will see you all again on Monday 30th Jan (years 1-

6) and Thursday 2nd Feb for our new Kindergarten

children.

Issue No 41 Term 4 Week 10

Tomaree High 2016 HSC Results Congratulations to all of the 2016 Year 12 students

who have now completed their HSC and are about to

embark on life after school. Year 12 2016 THS

students have received fantastic results, with 14 Band

6 results across 10 different subjects and 70 Band 5

results across 20 subjects.

We are very proud that three of Tomaree High School’s

top HSC achievers this year are former Anna Bay

Public School students.

Well done Hayley O’Toole, Sophie Cottam and

Izaac Daly!

Hayley was also one of two THS students who placed

in the Top 10 in the state for Family and Community

Studies.

This is a wonderful achievement for you all, and we

wish you all the best in the future!!

2017 Swimming Carnival Our 2017 Swimming Carnival will be held on Friday 3

February. This is the first week back at school for

students. Year 3 - 6 attend the swimming carnival, along

with students turning 8 years old in 2017 who can swim

50m competently.

All are welcome to cheer on our

swimmers!

Notes will be sent home early in

Term 1.

Uniform Update We anticipate that the all new Anna Bay Public School

uniform will be in stock at Lowes Salamander Bay from

the second week of January. Although the dress will be

delayed a little, we are expecting it to be available in

February.

The ‘old’ school uniform (pale blue shirt and navy shorts/

skort) may still be worn. There will be a two year

transition period where either uniform may be worn.

We will endeavour to keep you up to date during the

school holidays with the availability of the uniform via

Facebook and Skoolbag.

Reader bags and our new backpack are available to

purchase from our school office. Please note that the

backpack is not compulsory, it is merely an option.
