    Dear Students:

    This years final progress reports will be distributed this Friday, May 20. Thank you for doing yourbest to stay focused in the level up to the end of the school year.

    The MS Finale Concert will take place this Wednesday, May 18 at 5:30 P.M. in the FAT. You are allencouraged to attend and hear how far these students have come. Support your classmates and treayourself to some excellent music!

    Remember to turn in all checked-out materials, especially textbooks, to the appropriate locations assoon as your teacher gives permission. You can avoid waiting in long lines at the end of the year byreturning items early.

    FROM THE ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES OFFICE

    Thanks very much to the 270+ guests who came to the 3rd seasonsports awards at the HS gym last Friday evening. It was an enjoy-able evening to celebrate the success of our 3rd season teams andon behalf of the ISM administrative team, I would like to thank allparents for coming along to support your children and a big thanksto all coaches and athletes for your hard work during 3rd season.The success of our double gold medal softball teams along withsolid performances from our track and badminton teams made ita great way to top off the school year as far as our sports program

    is concerned. We look forward to more Bearcat success in schoolyear 2011-2012!

    Middle School 3rd Season Sports Awards were also held last weekfor Track & Field/ Mixed Touch/Softball and Badminton. A bigthanks to the coaches/students and parents who attended. Forour all year round ATAC teams, the end of year Awards Ceremonywill be held on Friday, June 3rd. Please see list below on theATAC highlights update for details or the flyer posted on noticeboards around school and in the bulletins.

    Next years dates and IASAS Schedule can be found on the ATACBlog. ISM will host MUN in November 2011 and Rugby/Touch inFebruary 2012. We look forward to these events in the 2011-2012

    Anniversary will takeplace this coming October with a huge celebration at SAS with allfirst season sports taking place in Singapore.

    The May or 4th Season practice schedule is posted on noticeboards, bulletins and on the ATAC blog (see schedules tab) Prac-tices for HS teams are open for grade 8 students who will befreshman next year through to grade 11 students. This is a goodtime to come out and show the HS coaches your level of skill anddedication for soccer, volleyball and rugby sessions that are beingoffered.

    BEARCAT DEN:Regular Opening Hours for the Bearcat Den:

    Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 am 1:00 pm and2:30 4:00 pm

    Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons from 2:30 - 4:00 pm

    Thanks to all our great volunteers. If you are interested in joining ogroup of volunteers in the Bearcat Den, please contact our BCD vounteers coordinator, Chantel ([email protected]) or pop into the Den near the HS Cafeteria and talk with one of our volunteethey will be very happy to make you welcome.

    PLEASE NOTE: Last day of den operations for this school year is TUDAY, JUNE 7th. The Den volunteers will be in hibernation from June8th until reopening day on Monday, August 8 th, 2011.
