After School Activities registration is open now .The program will start on 6

April 2017 every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:15pm. We do not provide transportation. Forms are available at the Reception desk .

Dear Parents

We had a very good Parent-Teacher-Day despite the rain. I do however understand that some parents were not able to attend. If you were unable to attend but still want to meet the staff, please contact Ms. Roya in order for her to make appointments for you.

Mr. Melvin conducted Workshops for the Grade 8 and 10 parents to guide them regarding the different curriculums and option choices available. If you missed these presentations, please contact him should you have any questions regarding the curriculum and option choices offered in the Secondary School.

I want to thank the PE staff and especially Mr. Jacques, our Director of Sport, for all the sporting matches against other schools that he organized. Our school does exceptionally well and have won most of the matches against schools like BSM, ABA, MIS, Al Shawa etc. I also want to encourage parents to attend these matches to encourage the students. I am a strong believer in the fact that there has to be a balance between the academic and extracurricular programme in the school.

Without the support from our parents ABQ would never have become the excellent school we are today. Please be assured that our aim is to provide the best possible education to our students and to keep striving for excellence when it comes to teaching and learning. Please feel free to come and see me or any member of the school’s management team if you have any questions and/or concerns.

Parent Teachers Conference In spite of uncertainty regarding weather conditions, the Parent Teacher Conference was very well attended. The progress of students could be discussed in a constructive way, plans were made to improve grades where necessary and good grades and behaviour could be reaffirmed. Secondary parent information sessions were also well attend-ed and clarity for many resulted around the a available academic option of ABQ It takes a village to raise a child is a familiar saying. The ABQIS-village is standing strong; a big thank you to all the parents,

TNBA Basketball clinic.: The new Basketball court was put to good use with 20 students taking part in an energetic clinic hosted by international coach Randy Jackson.

Weekly values: We are Optimistic.

بالرغم من الحالة الجوية غير المتوقعة وسقوط األمطار إال أن يوم أولياء األمور والمعلمين شهد حضورا جيدا حيث تم مناقشة التحصيل

الدراسي للطالب بطريقة بنّاءة ووضعت خطط لرفع الدرجات المتدنية من جهة ودعم الدرجات الجيدة والتشجيع على االلتزام

باألخالق الحميدة من جهة أخرى. وقد حضر عدد جيد من أولياء أمور طالب الثانوية الورش التي تعنى بإمدادهم بالمعلومات الالزمة للمناهج والخيارات المتاحة ألبنائهم. وتظل مدرسة عزان بن قيس كالقرية تتسم بالوحدة والشموخ تجسيدا للمقولة المعروفة "تحتاج

قريةً لتربي طفال". جزيل الشكر والعرفان لجميع أولياء األمور . والمعلمين وجميع المساهمين في نجاح هذا اليوم

وأربعاء من الساعة 2:32 وحتى 3:25 مساءا، علماً بأن مواصالت النقل غير متوفرة في ذلك الوقت. يُمكنك الحصول

على استمارات التسجيل من مكتب االستقبال.

عزيزي ولي األمر:

لقد كان يوم أولياء األمور والمعلمين ناجحا بالرغم من

هطول األمطار، وإنني أتفهم عدم مقدرة بعض أولياء

الحضور لذا إن لم تتمكن من الحضور علىاألمور

لمقابلة المعلمين بإمكانك التواصل مع األستاذة رؤيا

لترتب لك مواعيدا معهم.

أقام األستاذ ميلفن ورش عمل ألولياء أمور طالب

لتوضيح المناهج المختلفة 22و 8الصفوف

والخيارات المتاحة ألبنائهم. بإمكانك التواصل مع

األستاذ ميلفن إذا لم تكن حاضرا في هذه الورش ولديك

أي استفسار يخص المناهج والخيارات المتاحة لطالب

الثانوية.

أود أن أشكر معلمي الرياضة المدرسية وباألخص مدير

الرياضة األستاذ جاكويس على جميع المباريات

الرياضية التي نظمها مع المدارس األخرى، وقد أبلت

المدرسىة بالء حسنا حيث ربحت معظم المباريات التي

خاضتها مع المدارس األخرى كالمدرسة البريطانية

مسقط واألكاديمية األمريكية البريطانية ومدرسة مسقط

العالمية ومدارس الصحوة، كما أود أيضا أن أحث

أولياء األمور على حضور هذه المباريات لتشجيع

أبنائهم ألنني أؤمن أنه ال بد من وجود توازن بين

الجانب األكاديمي وجانب األنشطة في المدرسة.

لوال دعم أولياء األمور لما أصبحت مدرسة عزان بن

قيس بهذا التميز اليوم. وتأّكد من أن هدفنا األساسي

هو توفير أفضل تعليم ممكن لطالبنا ومواصلة السعي

نحو التميز في التعليم والتعلم. إذا كان لديك أي

استفسار أو مالحظات ال تتردد في القدوم إلي أو

مراجعة أحد من موظفي الهيئة اإلدارية في المدرسة.
