Hello fellow Key Clubbers! So we’re almost ¼ done with

our school year! I hope the pounds of work haven’t over-

whelmed you yet! Tens of thousands of NJ Key Clubbers,

just like you, gathered at Six Flags a few weeks ago. After

meeting our district board, we had the whole day to our-

selves. If you haven’t gone to Fall Rally yet, make sure you

go next year! Our first big event, Halloween at the High, is

only in a few days. Get excited; this is the biggest event of

the year! There will be games, face painting, haunted houses,

trick-or-treat doors and lots of candy! Our next event is

Coffeehouse on Thursday, November 14th. Make sure you

volunteer to perform or join the decorating or serving com-

mittees! Some English teachers will be giving out extra cred-

it for reciting poetry or a short story. See you guys at Hal-

loween at the High and Coffeehouse! Without further ado,

please carry on with reading the rest of this month’s news-

letter created by our editor, Sam Wu!

Your Key Club President,

Jasmine Jean

Fall Rally Recap

This year’s “Superhero for Service” themed Fall Rally was a blast!

With great speeches, guest speakers, and over 3,000 NJ key club-

bers in attendance, this was one exciting Fall Rally. This year, we

collected school supplies for the Tools for Schools program.

With thousands of items donated, it was a huge success! If you

missed this year’s Fall Rally, make sure to join the fun next Octo-

ber!

Upcoming Events

On October 31st, the Parsippany High School Key Club will be

holding its annual Halloween at the High from 4pm - 7pm. With

games, face painting, a haunted house, a scavenger hunt, and more,

it will sure be a good time. Make sure to spread the word to your

friends and family!

On November 14th, we’ll be having a coffeehouse at our school.

This consists of great food and drinks and various performances

by students. Make sure you sign up to perform! Many people read

poetry, sing songs, or present other types of literary art. Depend-

ing on your English teacher, you might even get extra credit for

performing! One example of a performance that was given two

years ago was a dramatic reading of “Sexy and I Know It” by

LMFAO. Make sure to come to the fun event, and invite all your

friends!
