Dear Members,

We celebrated 'International Women's Day' on 8th March with a live music performance by Avril

Quadros, fun activities, talk shows and a fashion show by the ladies of Bangalore Club, which was well

received by members. On 23rd March, we had the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, performing well-

known western classical music pieces. On 30th March, we saw the ever popular event 'Bhooli Hui

Yaadein' packed to the capacity of lawn.

A talk delivered by Naresh Narasimhan on 'Mapping Bengaluru: Making Cities Observable' in the

Auditorium, was well received by members.

In the month of April, we have a few library events besides 'April Blossoms' which is scheduled on

20th of April. I request members to actively participate in all these events.

The Sesquicentennial Commemorative book "Another World" is available at the Main Reception for sale

to members at a special price of Rs.750/-. Members may buy their copies by producing their Club

ID cards. Each member is entitled to have three copies of the book at this price.

A folder containing Bangalore Club My Stamp, special cancellation cover and brochure is being issued

to members at the Main Reception on production of their membership ID card.
