We need to nd a way to release the emotions associatedwith our experiences of the past year. There are many waysto release these pent-up emotions. Writing a List of Pros andCons about the events of the past year can expose hiddenemotions and show where changes can be made. A letterto the Universe can be a powerful release as seeing andexpressing the words can allow us to forgive. Even Meditationcan free hidden emotions as we re-enact experiences making

the release more real for the mind, body and spirit to accept.

October is the second month of the spiritual year and it is an

important month. The spiritual year begins with September

and celebrates our abundance and bounty in all forms, and

culminates in our Thanksgiving celebrations. The harvest

is in, and has been stored away for the winter months to

come. Across the Northern Hemisphere the energies of

October take hold with a riot of colourful leaves and cooler

temperatures leading the way, as it too prepares to rest andheal.

These energies move us toward a time of quiet reection and

a sense of satisfaction begins to settle in. There may still be

work to do but the urgency to complete those tasks eases.

Spiritually, we must also begin the process of preparing to

rest and heal. The preparations we make in October are part

of the natural spiritual cycle that ends with their release at

Halloween. The Eve of All Saints Day has always been known

as a time when the curtains between the worlds of spirit and

the living become thinner. A time for ghosts, ghouls and

stories to be told and yet, it is so much more. What if the

ghosts and ghouls have always been our emotion, our pain

and our disappointments from the past year?

Our stories of ghosts and such have always been about the

remorse of not completing some work or accomplishing

some goal and today is no dierent. October is and always

has been about releasing our disappointments, and regrets

about the plans that didnt manage to come together in the

past year. It is a time for us to do some well-deserved spiritual

cleaning. The realization that these disappointments are notfailures is paramount! They are simply dreams and plans

that may have come before their time, may need some work

or are to be left for someone else. Future plans can wait,

this not the time to begin planning anew. First we need

to be honest with ourselves about the plans and path we

have walked this past year. It can be dicult but the eort

to be honest with our progress or lack thereof is critical for

our spiritual wellbeing. No recriminations, just a time to be

honest about where we wanted to be, where we are, what

    worked and what didnt.

    6. Hug Often and with Vigour: Heres another expression of joy that is away from us when we reach adulthood. Im not saying you should ininappropriate behaviour in the workplace. Perhaps, hugging the mai

may be a bit too much, but hug the people you love. Take advantagnaturally occurring wonder-neurotransmitters. Read up on oxytocin,

    dont believe me.

    7. Be Good to Yourself: As children were all about hedonism we doand say what we want when we want it, but by the time were all grow

weve turned into stoics. Whats up with that? All Im saying is scheduleweekly visits to the Spa, take regular naps, dont lose the love of idle

Meditate, practice yoga, take a walk in the park or a nice luxurious lavebath, give your body and mind a chance to slow down.

    8. HAVE A ME-MOMENT: Im not suggesting we should all beannoying selsh brat we hated even as kids, but rather have

the reverence for the hard work you put in. Celebrate it bydoing something you love every day. It can be something as

simple as cooking yourself a fantastic dinner (or goingout for one), or setting aside an hour to work on yourmemoir, learn a new language or practice your guitar.

    9. STOP THE COMPULSIVE THOUGHTS:Children live in the moment, they dont have

enough past to be obsessed by it, and thefuture (the way we conceive of it in our adult

minds) is pure science ction. All that countsis the present. There is a lesson to be learned:When it comes to thinking, less is more. Too

much of it, and we run the risk of crossingover into neurosis.

    10. WHEN EVERYTHING ELSE FAILS, CHOCOLATE:Im not joking (ok, I am just a little). Have a reserve of ne quality chocin your fridge (Id advise on Belgian or Swiss. Nutella also works, bu

as well). Nothing like feeding your inner child every so often. Pluscientically proven chocolate makes you happy. Skeptic again? Read u

LESSONS ON HAPPINESS......We Learn as Children

HERE ARE A FEW POINTERSWE MAY LEARN FROM OUR

    YOUNGER HAPPIER SELVES:

    1. SHARING IS CARING: Rememberwhen Mom, or the teacher would

repeatedly tell you that? Well, its true. Were not talking crayons anymore, though. Share your life lessons, pay it

forward, and listen, really listen to others. Make someone else happy, too.Youll be surprised at the level of joy that may bring into your life.

    2. BE FORGETFUL: Children areso resilient, precisely because theyhave a short memory. If you let it,

    ife may provide endless reasons

to be miserable. Your actions maynot lead to the desired results,

people may not live up to yourexpectations. No matter what,

remember the lesson, discardthe negative emotion, and move

    forward.

    3. SAY PLEASE AND THANK YOU: Another childhood mantra. This maywork in a couple of ways: Treat people with the kindness and respect youwould like to be treated, but also take stalk of your life. Be thankful for thegood things, and take any challenge or diculty as an opportunity for

    growth.

    4. BE DEAF TO NEGATIVES. Weve all been there as children staringat the raised index nger of an adult telling us dont do that!! while wemischievously plot our next move. More likely than not, we have since

nternalized that exact phrase, which comes out of our mouths as I cant orI shouldnt. Well, snap out of it; stop asking for permission, and focus yourenergy on achieving and just being.

    5. LAUGH HARD AND OFTEN: Adults are forever devising games to elicita smile or a giggle from a child, and as kids we nd it easy to laugh. Its so sad

that we often think of adulthood as the serious phase of our lives. I beg todier. Humor is the salt that seasons an otherwise insipid life. Besides, a littleronic distance has never hurt anybody.

    WE ARE NOT BORN

    UNHAPPY OR FEARFUL,

BUT IF WERE NOTCAREFUL THE SHEER

    WEIGHT OF LIVING MAY

    END UP TURNING US

    INTO MISERABLE OGRES.

HOW EFFECTIVE ARE YOUR WORKOUTS? DO YOU PUSH YOURSELF

TO THE LIMIT EVERY TIME YOU WORKOUT TO THE POINT WHERE YOU

HAVE NO GAS LEFT IN THE TANK? DO YOU FEEL THE BURN WITH EACH

    REPETITION YOU DO?

Since you are spending some of your valuable time working out, I would assume you are looking to

have a slimmer and more toned body. If you had the option to achieve that slimmer and more tonedbody in less time that you would say, yes please!

The following tips I am going to share with you are goingto show you how to spend less time working out, while

achieving quicker and more noticeable results.

I think the rst thing you have to do is be focused. It soundsobvious but it is crucial to an eective workout and often

overlooked. Dont be one of those people who stand aroundchit chatting and working their jaw muscles more thanany other muscle. When you are working out focus on the

specic muscle group you are training. Research has proven signicant increases in muscle activitywhen you are focused on the muscle group you are working on versus an unrelated topic.

Its ok to be confused or should I say for your muscles to be confused. Change up your routine often

so that you dont hit plateaus and make sure you continuously challenge your body. Try new exercisesat dierent intensities and weight ranges. Make sure you stay nourished and well hydrated. Drinking

enough water and eating real, whole foods, directly aect your results.

The time of day makes a huge dierence in your results as well. Now theres no perfect time of day to

workout. But gure out the time your body works best and consistently try and workout at that time.Theres a benet to working out in a group setting. Researchers saw a signicant increase in strength

and endurance in the people who had an audience versus those training on their own.

Caeine has been shown to help burn fat and increase endurance. If you have no medical issues thatwould prevent you from drinking caeine then consume one caeinated beverage an hour beforeyour workout.

Get pumped for your workout. Researchers found that music motivated weightlifters to complete

two more repetitions on average than those who were not listening to music. Thats a great reason to

listen to upbeat music while you exercise.

Be smart about your training. If you are not already one of my valued clients, then now is the time tobecome one. Working with a professional ensures that you are being challenged and are seeing the

    results you deserve.

If you dont know where to start when it comes to exercise, I am here to help. Its my passion to makeexercise a part of your life that you look forward to and are rewarded by. Wouldnt you like all of the

    healthy rewards of being t?

It can involve exacerbationsand remissions, increases anddiminutions in intensity butpretty much lingers as a constantnagging ache, burn or stiness. It aects the way one is able tolive his or her life and is one of thetop reasons a person o work orunable to return at all.

Causes of chronic pain can belumped into a few dierentcategories: acute injuries that failto heal properly, repetitive straininjuries, neurological conditions, problems with hormonal

regulation and/or other systemicdiseases. As a manual therapist, I primarily work with the rst three;acute become chronic injuries, repetitive strains and neurologicalconditions.

Acute-become-chronic injuries can be further sub categorized as

eally severe injuries including some surgical procedures, repetitionsof the same injury or repeated injuries to the same area. A reallysevere injury could include near complete to complete ruptureof ligaments and muscles, badly brokenbones, impact traumas that damagenternal structures, or a joint replacement

surgery. In these instances the bodyikely experienced a period of shock ast scrambled to deal with the moment ofnjury and the convalescent period.

These injuries can involve many structures,or a single structure and typically call for a longer period ofhealing and potential immobilization. In the event of less severebut repeated injury, we can see a lingering of inammation and

syndromes in other, closely related areas. For instance, a mildlysprained ankle, once, isnt a terribly injury and one is likely up anddoing their thing right away. Repeated sprains though decreasehe stability of the joints, leading to the potential for a more severe

sprain, stiness and a constant swelling in the ankle.

This can set the stage for shin splints to develop as the TiAnterior muscle on the front of the shin sees a lot more activstabilizing the joint than it ought.

Repetitive strain injuries (RSIs) involve constantly working ain the same fashion, frequently/daily, without adequate rescare in between bouts of eort. Some of the most com

include Golfers and Tennis elbow, where the knobby bieither side of the elbow get really sore and inamed.

Presently, tendonopathies like these are understood as brepeated periods of inammation leading to adhering ovarious layers of tissue. With these tissues getting bogged dand stuck together by the inammatory uids, glide ceashappen between the tissues and restrictions begin. Even

the tissues get thicker as a means of protefrom the constant frictionwe see a decrease in avaipain-free range of motion.sort of tendonitis can hajust about anywhere theretendon.

Neurological syndromes caa bit trickier to pin down. Nare like tubes that split omain channels to carry messages all across the bBecause of this, what apto be a Carpal Tunnel syndmay actually be associateda dysfunction higher upchain at the elbow, shouldeneck.

Even issues like the above mention RSIs can be associatedpoor neurological functioning. Causes of neurological dysfun

can be either mechanical or chemical. It becomes very impoto work closely with the diagnosing physicians to ensure thatmay appear to be a simple mechanical neuropathy isnt in more complex problem involving even higher branches onervous system or hormonal dysfunctions.

The thing to really take home about chronic pain isdramatically it can alter ones lifestyle. To go from being an participant to restricted in simple things like standing acounter long enough to make a sandwich, put on ones or brush the teeth is very frustrating at best. The emotoll can be high as quality of life diminishes and the ato experience pleasure is challenged. Relationships witand others suer and even personal identity can be a

For those who are close with persons living in chronic paiimportant to remember that this pain is a daily experience truly exhausting. It is up to us to remain sensitive to their emoand physical needs, and to be as compassionate as we can.

HE PHYSICAL POSTURES OF YOGA CAN HELP RELIEVE PAIN IN AUMBER OF WAYS.The most obvious is the ability of a well-rounded yoga

actice to lower stress levels. Stress makes muscles more likely to go into spasm,nd muscle spasms are an underappreciated contributor to both acute andhronic pain.

the case of back pain, its tight, aching muscles (which can grip in response toven minor injuries to tendons, ligaments, or other connective tissue) that expertsow believe cause most of the pain. The practice of asana, beyond its ability toduce relaxation, can be an eective way to relieve muscle tightness. In contrast

many other forms of exercise, yoga promotes both strength and exibility inuscles.

sana can also be very helpful in conditions such as back pain and degenerativethritis, where poor anatomical alignment and dysfunctional movement patternse usually contributing to the problem.

Alist~n my life, it is paramount for me to adhere to Life Herself and parallel my

movements with the cycles of nature. This might be honoring the shifting of the

moon and rising and setting of the sun each day or it could be checking in where

am in the turning of the wheel of the seasons. It might also be in comparing my

own evolution to the cycle of life as it naturally evolves. Often I have to ground

myself as my self-will; my ego, attempts to seize the moment of immediate

gratication and pulls me into a whirlwind of activity and perpetual motion.Life Herself has much to teach us in the way we choose to move and take our

next step forward. One such way is to stop and contemplate at the turning of the

wheel at the Sabbats. To some these are holidays and weekends o or perhaps

ust a change in the weather. For some of us, however, these Sabbats are great

moments of time to stop and assess where we are on the wheel; to celebrate,

contemplate and give gratitude. Dierent Sabbats gift us with signicant

checkmarks, similar to an inukshuk placed in the middle of a vast eld. Right

now we are entering the time of the Fall Equinox or Mabon.

quotes FoR RelFlection:This is a moment of perfect balance, for day and nightare equal. Mabon is the ritual of rejoicing in the richnessof the earth, and the power of the Sun, without which wecould not live. It is the time to give thanks for their giftsand rejoice in the bounty we have harvested for ourselvesin our work, our relationships, our spiritual journeys. This isalso the time we reect upon those aspects of our lives thatno longer serve our growth and happiness and we let go ofthem so we may continue to grow. (Witch Crafting PhyllisCurott )

....We take the time to give thanks for that which we haveachieved. Like the grain gathered in the harvest and storedfor the following spring, each achievement can be seenas the seed for the coming years activities (The WiccaHandbook by Sheena Morgan)

n my own life I see this being paralleled in many dierent layers. As I grow In my

business I give thanks for all the support, love and insight I have received since

ts birth in the early spring. I stop and observe the seeds/ the new plants I havesown and look at how I am nurturing them. I am open to the feedback that I

might be giving them too much water and food, that perhaps I should ba

o a little bit and allow them to grow at their natural pace. I remember th

how I nurture my business is a mirror to how I might nurture a new bab

or a little seed that has emerged into this world. Learning to walk take

time. Growing is a slow, steady process. New life needs to be nourishe

respected and blessed. For life to evolve abundantly and to its full potent

it is imperative we honor the natural cycle of Life Herself. We have to stao as infants. We have to be a child before we are an adolescent. We cann

be a crone or wise one if we never experienced life.

Its Fall; new courses, new programs, new classes, new, new, new. Yet

natures time it is actually the balance between night and day, the time ju

before the plants and animals begin to withdraw and go within. This is th

way of our ancestors. It was a time to honor the gifts of the previous seaso

to gather the harvest and get ready for the winter months. Soon after the

would retreat into their homes and pray for the warmth to return.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately) this is not so realistic in these times

which we live, considering we do have grocery stores and jobs and suc

to account for and depend on. It is realistic, however, to tap into the way

of our ancestors in the small choices we make, in how we choose to mov

doing ordinary everyday things. There are many ways we can do this.

As this articles intention is to share the teachings of the plants, one thinwe can focus on is how you could incorporate the herbs into your life

such a way that is in tune with the turning of the wheel. Perhaps you c

take an inventory of the equipment/tools in your kitchen that are necessa

for creating herbal remedies. Are there things you need to get rid of (or giv

away) in order to start something new? If you have already begun, wh

will you take forth that is useful for herbal living as you step into this nex

season? Your windows will be closed soon, keeping out the cold of th

winter months. Literally, you can wash away the old stagnant energy an

make way for healthy vibrant living.

For now, I simply invite you to stop and contemplate these words; to b

present for this time of the year, then from that place take the next little ste

to become aligned and one with all of Life that evolves within and aroun

    you.AnA RAveBstAR

Traditionally, pumpkin was used for treating type 2 diabetes in Mexico where the traditional healers administered crude extract of thepumpkin fruit to the patients.

All my lie, I have been drawn by a mysterious pull towards rocks,

crystals and gemstones. As a kid, I would spend hours collecting

pretty pebbles the tide would wash up. As an adult, I still wind up

flling all my pockets with rocks while out on a hike, in act my hike

ends up on the back burner, while, I putz about into a timewarp

looking or gemmy treasures. What's more, I oten fnd stones that

geologically shouldn't exist in the locales where I discover them.

So I've always considered them little gits rom the Universe. No

doubt, my lie would lead me down a rabbit hole or two... hundred,

and I would begin to grasp the truly proound sentient relationship

    between man and minerals.

Okay, so gemstones are sparkly and pretty and they make great

jewellery and collectibles, always going up in value and that could

be reason enough to love them. For most, that's about it when

they look at quartz cluster or jade pendant, but did you know

that all stones have a magnetic feld and most quartz crystallinestructured stones conduct piezoelectricity? For this reason, crystals

and gemstones have been used as an alternative healing modality

dating back to the dawn o mankind.

Since, each and every dierent variety o crystal or stone has a

unique magnetic feld that it resonates to, specifc attributes and

certain characteristics can be identifed by those sensitive to

their energy. This can make some stones better than others when

specifc targets intended. Many believe that by wearing or carrying

specifc gemstones and crystals they can gain courage, protection,

healing, energy or relaxation etc. In the same turn bringing crystals

into your home and garden can attract the vibrations specifc to

them into the household. Crystals can be used to charge water or

make elixirs, but most importantly they can be used or personal

healing. Many o the vibrational characteristics associated with some

crystals parallel the healthy balanced attributes o each chakra

(anatomically known as the body's plexus nerve bundles). The

ollowing section will outline which crystals can be used or

healing or powering up each individual chakra. When using

crystals or healing, the more contact you have with them the

more eective the treatment will be. It is best to carry them in

your pocket, put them under you pillow or on your bedside table

at night. I you meditate you can hold them in you palms or place

them on the energy centres in your body.

was told once by a shaman whom I trust that, Everything imagined exists.t took me a while to process that thought and its implications I do believe

n the spirit world, a world that exists beyond our third dimension, which weexperience with our ve senses. I can only share what I have learned andexperienced in my own journey. The following article is nowhere close to

a complete story, (as that would be impossible), and none of the following

s based on scientic facts, butather on a belief in the existence ofmagined beings.

We are all entities our humanbodies are made up of dense masses

of energy. There are other massesof energy or entities, sharing our

universe as well. Some may havebodies made

    of dierentdensities of

energy, theymay not havebodies at all,

or they maybe able to shift

    their shape. When a spirits energy is not as dense as ourhuman form, we may not see it with our human eyes;

however that does not mean that it is not there.

Energetic entities can be positive or negative, in terms of

their vibration and purpose. For example with regardsto ghosts, you can have positive ghosts, which may

be loved ones who have passed on, visiting, helpingor guiding you. You can have negative or troublesome

ghosts, trying to create fear and chaos, as in the case of some hauntedhouses. Some ghosts are neutral though and are just stuck to Earth bytheir own beliefs. They may be doing the same thing, day in and day

out, that they did when they were alive, not knowing that there may besomewhere else for them to go to, or perhaps they just love the space

so much, that they want to stay there.

We may know some very positive or light entities, as angels,Archangels and guardian angels or light beings. These are spirits

that want to help us humans, because they love us. I have learnedand believe that each human has at least 2 guardian angels

who are with them since birth. Yes, they would have seen

every action that you have taken since you were bornThats right they have seen every mistake that you have made,

but they have also celebrated all of your accomplishmentswith you. Privacy is really just an illusion. We have to get used

to the fact that we are never alone. You likely have many spiritguides and helpers with you all the time, including spirit animals!

They are often just waiting to be invited to help you energetically,to work through whatever issues you are facing.

Many people also have dark energy or negative entities attachedto them, as well. If you are having a bad day at work, you can easily

bring home dark, heavy energy in your aura. Demons and darkentities generally feed o of fear or forms

of fear, such as anger and they work toperpetuate those feelings. Some demonsmay become present in a persons life,

through the subconscious invitationof their own angry, fearful or addictive

    behaviors.

It is possible for some dark entities to attach to our energy eld, ware in a vulnerable state or when we are children, by making some

agreement with us, like eternal friendship for example. With our subcopermission, they can attach with a cord and exist with us for years, feed

of our life energy and leaving us depleted.

They can speak to us in our own voice, encouraging bad decisions a

sabotage, leading to disappointments, chaos and ultimately sadnefear. Some dark or negative entities are also like animals and some ca

from person to person. When you are just riding the bus, if your enunprotected, you may unwillingly bring home a new entity with you.

How can you get rid of unwanted energies in your aura or home space

are a few things that you can try. You can of course, at any time, prfaith, to whatever you believe in, for help. Sometimes simply having a can release a heavy or dark energy. You can easily remove

any unwanted entities (that are not corded to you) with asmudge (smoke or spray) while holding the intention for

anything unwanted, to leave. You can send dark energyinto the earth or into a ame (or imagined violet ame)

for transmutation. The method that you choose, will bemost eective, if it resonates with your belief system.

If you feel that there may be an unwanted entity inyour home or attached to your energy body that you

can not seem to shake on your own, you can seek outthe assistance of a shaman or Reiki practitioner who is

oering energetic clearings. Most Reiki practitionersare trained on how to clear a home, with Reiki energy,

however not all would want to! Some Reiki practitioners, energy healers and crystal healers will oer their owntype of intuitive etheric surgery, which can permanently remove

unwanted entities from your energetic eld. A lot of shamans oreligious leaders, including priests dont advertise energetic clearing

services, however they are often capable of clearing homes and auraof unwanted energies.

It is said that on Halloween, the veil between the human and thespirit worlds is thinner than it is during the rest of the year. You are

most likely to see, hear, and feel other entities (positive or negative)that are present in your life, around this time. Because of this, the

fall season is the perfect time to review your home and your ownenergy eld and to take action to remove anything unwanted

    from your space.

SOME OF US KNOW THESEBEINGS THROUGH OURDREAMS, OR AS A PARTOF OUR FAITH. SOME

HUMANS CAN PERCEIVETHESE BEINGS DIRECTLY,THROUGH HEIGHTENED

    SENSES SUCH AS;CLAIRVOYANCE,

    Are you reAdy to

    reAch outto your Angels, guides

    And other celestiAl cousins?

This is an exciting time, and you are probably eager to get going, but before

you plow head long into communication, there are a few housekeeping

rules, which you MUST adhere to. When you reach out to spirit source, you

must rst of all understand that you are opening a portal for ALL spirit to

enter. As with our human existence, there are dierent spirit forms, some

from the dark side, and others of pure light. You need to make sure you

are only allowing spirit in from the purest light form, the highest form of

love, light & truth. You also have to make sure YOU are ready, clear of mind

(no anxiety, nervousness, or worry) are grounded and protected. If you

dont follow these rst steps, you may be allowing yourself to become aconduit for unsavory happenings. Clear the mind: I call this the cleansing

    period.

Once you have done this, and chosen a space for communication,

readings, scribing etc, you are better o using this space each time you

communicate. You are instilling you energy into this space, and your

energy becomes more entrenched in it. I like to use the same chair for

instance, as it feels comfortable to me, like an old friend. Now you are

ready to begin. You do not have to do anything more than sit, wait, listen

& be open to receiving messages, love, healing (whatever you are asking

for)...In the begin, perhaps you wont feel, hear, see or sense anything

unusual. This is normal, do not force anything.

Mind or iMAginAtion?People always ask me if they are really in the presence of

spirit or if they are only imagining it. I cannot answer this

question thoroughly, as everyone is dierent, some people

do play a role (pretend, exaggerate, etc). As a Spiritual

Hypnotist, I can tell you that the mind is a super powerful

tool, and if you imagine something happening, you will

eventually manifest it. You will know if it is real for you,

when you feel: Warmth, protected, loved, happy, at ease. You

may notice a feeling such as a happy thought or a loving

breeze is passing by/over you, a gentle hug or kiss has been

given to you. You may notice an illuminated light aroundyou or your space. If you feel anything uncomfortable, pain,

anxiety, racing heart, a sense of darkness or fear, you must

stop what you are doing. You could be invoking dark spirit

or you could be allowing your mind to wander away from

your pure intentions. TYPES OF COMMUNICATORS: (Clair

= clear) Claircognizant: one who clearly knows believes

recognizes (often confused with Clairsentient) Clairaudient:

one who hears clearly Clairvoyant: one who sees clearly

Clairsentient: one who feels or senses clearly (also called

psychometrists) may get their information from holding an

    object, standing still, channeling etc.

Tap into your senses. When you are sitting quietly, feeling drowsy, calm,

at peace.....you are in the prime position to ask how you will know when

a presence is around you. Each person picks up dierent sensations.

Ears: You may feel a hot sensation, a buzzing or tingling in one of your

ears Eyes: You may see shadows, light, ickering or you may have the

deep need to simply close your eyes. Nose: You may smell certain

fragrances or odors (smoke, perfume, owers, food, etc) Mouth: You

may have a dry mouth or increased salivation. Throat: You may have

the desire to clear your throat or cough, swallow repeatedly Head: You

may be aware of slight pressure in your head, or have a mild to severe

headache, this is all temporary. Chest: You may feel your heart rate

increase or decrease, you may have the sensation of needing to gulp air

or take big breaths, and again this is all temporary. Hands/Skin:You may

feel cold, hot, clammy, dry, or itchy. Any of the above sensations mayindicate how you feel the presence, and you will become accustomed

to this feeling each time you prepare to communicate. For me, I feel

intense heat in my right ear - sometimes it feels like a 100 people

shouting at me at the same time. I also feel the need to continuously

clear my throat. Normally, this all settles down within a few minutes,

but depending on the situation (group readings, etc) you may remain

this way for the duration. Tools to bring include pendulums, cards,

automatic writing, crystals, Ouija boards... Instinct. Practice with a few of

these tools. You will be more comfortable with one than the other, learn

how to use your tools, there are so many books and internet studies,

classes or workshops. You may want to incorporate these tools into your

communication. You may decide to use no tools, or some of the tools

all at once. Everyone is dierent. It all depends on your experien

comfort level or what you are using them for. For instance I use t

pendulum and some crystals for healing, and only cards (or instinct) f

readings. Experiment and nd out what is right for yourself. INSTIN

Some of us rely solely on our instinct in our communication, readin

daily lives.... What is instinct? It is the feeling you get when dang

love, happiness, anticipation is close by/happening. Where do I feel

We refer to the points of instinct as our Chakra centers.

Instinct is often referred to as the ght or ight syndrome. You fe

it then act upon it. It propels you forward, locks you in place, produ

physical imbalance or emotional upset. It can terrify or excite. Lea

where you sense/feel it. Use these feelings to take note, listen,

    prevent/promote action.

    Communicating witAngels

setting the stAgestePs: #1) Turn off all electrical appliances, phones, tv, radio etc. You donot want to create a static vibration around your environment. #2) Have a

soothing warm drink (chamomile, etc). #3) Do a repetition of cleansing breaths,

this helps to alleviate any pent up emotions (anxiety, stress, etc) and also helps

to lower your blood pressure and clear your head. #4) Short Blessing should

be done at this time, like a prayer or meditation. #5) Visualize the WHITE LIGHT

of protection around your physical being and your space. #6) Let you Guides/

Angels know that you are ready and prepared to begin. Ask for the HIGHEST

form of love and light to bring you messages. Ask for continual protection for

yourself and your space. #7) Smudge or use incense #8) Breathe. Take a big

breath and you are now ready to begin. #9) Clear you environment of clutter.

#10) Place your tools close by (pendulums, cards, candles, etc). #11) Have

pen/paper or battery operated tape recorder ready. #12) If it is daytime, you

may choose to close the curtains.

PrAyer to PrePAre:Loving, divine One; I open myself up as a channelof information. Use me to bring your messages oflove, hope, courage, healing & wisdom to thosearound me. Provide me with your veil of protection,so that I can recognize messages from the puresttruth source. Envelope me in your illuminating lightwhich I accept freely.
