A- 1 TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The tender will be in accordance with the PPRA Rules 2014.

2. The covering envelope should be marked at the upper left comer, the category of the tender.

3. The firm should be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax department. RegistrationCertificate issued by Income Tax department in the name of firm should be attached with the bid.One year Bank Statement, Income Tax Return Challan last one year, Company IFirm profile areto be attached. Offer without above said formalities will be rejected.

4. Firm should not be black listed, suspended or removed from the approved list of contractorsfrom any Department I Agency (Affidavit should be attached).

5. The rates quoted in the Tender should be included all Taxes and valid up to 30-06-2016.

6. The Items must be supplied within time. In case of failure, the Supply Order will be standcancelled and the Call Deposit will be forfeited.

7. The tender will only be received through sealed envelopes. The tender submitted incomplete,or after due date and time will not be entertained in any case.

8. All the Transportation charges would be borne by the Firm / Contractor.

9. The bidder will be liable to pay all Govt. Taxes.

10. Successful bidder will be liable to deliver the supply as per approved specifications, to,Muhammad Nawaz ShareefUniversity of Agriculture Multan.

11. In case of any dispute, between Tender Committee & Supplier the decision of Worthy Vice-Chancellor would be final and that decision will not be challenged in any court of law.

12. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tender Committee as well as contractors ortheir representative who wish to be there.

13. Payment will be made after the delivery.

14. The quotation received with over-writing, cutting, mutilation and doubtful figure will berejected. Moreover all pages of tender documents must also be properly signed.

15. Conditional offer shall not be entertained. ,16. If applicable sample of the items may also be provided with the "TECHNICALPROPOSAL".

17. Rates should be quoted both in figures and words.

18. The Tender/ Technical Committee will make 100% inspection of the Items.

19. On the recommendation of the Tender Committee, Vice-Chancellor reserves the right toreject all of the tenders after submission of the tender.

20. All tender shall accompany the earnest money 2% of the estimated price of the Tender in theshape of Call Deposit in favor ofthe Treasurer, without which the offer will not be entertained.

21. Performance Guarantee / Bid Security @ 5% of the contract amount will be required fromthe successful bidders to be furnished before the issuance of the Supply Order.

22. In case the Firm! Contractor fails to execute the contract strictly in accordance with the termsand condition laid down in the contract, the security deposit shall be forfeited.
