Engines of innovation, growth and success in semiconductors

Sponsored by

EuROpE – KNOwINg AbOut ItS StRENgthSAn impressive line-up of top class speakers will share views on the future of semiconductors and related sectors relative to macro-economics, mega-trends, global and regional market-development, 450mm transition, EUV status and the question what comes beyond Silicon. Be part of a controversial debate that provides you reference points to shape your own strategic direction for the coming year and beyond.

Europe’s semiconductor industry is gearing-up! After the European Commission’s announcement of EUR 100 billion private/public investments into semiconductor advanced technologies and manufacturing, the industry is poised to strengthen its competitive position in a wide range of technological areas and societal challenges. The most recent announcement of the French government to launch “Nano2017”, a public/private partnership of EUR 3.5 billion for nanoelectronics in Grenoble, is to be seen as a part of this ambitious initiative. According to Neelie Kroes, European Commissioner in charge of the Digital Agenda, the European vision is to reach a 20% share of world-wide semiconductor manufacturing by 2020. Is the vision set forth by the Commission realistic? What are the boundary conditions to achieve such an ambitious goal? ISS Europe will question the critical issues of that plan.

Do not miss the opportunity to get better insight into the longer term evolution of semiconductors and related technologies in an ever changing environment and mobilize your full potential of business perspectives in Europe and abroad.

ISS Europe continues to be the forum for company executives based in or operating within Europe. Presentations will stimulate discussions and the conference format ensures ample time for networking with your peers.
