Center of Molecular Research known as CMR is a Russian isotope production company. CMR is a part of group of companies founded in 1993. OXYGEN-18 (I.E. ≥ 98%) for PET

Product description: Enriched Oxygen-18 water is used as a target which is bom-barded with the help of cyclotron or linear accelerator in order to produce Flourine-18. Flourine-18 is synthesized into 2-deoxy-2-18F-β-D-glucopyranose (18F-FDG) which is a radiolabelled sugar molecule used in PET (Positron emission tomography) for determining sites of ab-normal glucose metabolism and for local-ization of many types of tumors. Today 18F-FDG is the most widespread and suc-cessful PET radiopharmaceutical. 18F-FDG is an analogue of glucose, it is injected in vivo and then 18F-FDG is transported from blood to tissues in a way similar to glu-

cose. Cells absorb FDG like glucose but it cannot be metabolized. A very important advantage of FDG-PET is that it helps ac-curately define stage and sites of recur-rent disease in many cancer types.

Packaging: we supply Oxygen-18 water in the borosilicate US standard glass vi-als with rubber-stoppers and aluminum crimp seals. The vials special sterilized prior to filling.

REAGENT KITs for FDG

CMR supplies a wide range of reagent kits, chemicals for PET-tomography and PET precursors.

CMR provides ophthalmic applicators (OA) which are intended for contact radiation ther-apy of malignant tumors of eyes and append-ages of the eye, such as melanoma of the iris, retinoblastoma, melanoma and others.OA is a sealed radionuclide source of ionizing radiation. They are produced by an original technology – radionuclides Ruthenium-106 and Rhodium-106 are placed on the sub-strate, which makes it possible to distribute the activity on its surface uniformly.Advantages:• Application of ophthalmic applicators

is exceptional organ preserving and ef-ficient method of treatment.

• Outer surface is made of stainless steel that prevents the corrosion and allows under-going any multiple types of sterilization.

• Ophthalmic applicators are reusable as they are resistant to humidity, body and tissue fluids.
