• The Pointed Archo  This style of building arches has been in style with the

Islamic people since the 7th century • The airy, floaty that is a signature to Gothic era cathedrals

has been used by Islamic architecture since 600 AD-    

Patterns

• Patterns were frequently used in Islamic design • They represent the infinity of Allah, with their nonending

repeating    Dome of the Rock Patterns found on the inside of the dome. Cool,lush blues and greens represent their idea ofparadise. >>>
