An Encounter With Seed

There is an element of mystery when we have an encounter with something. An encounter

is an experience that brings unquestionable change and conviction—it solidifies and

imprints on the individual, what may have once been a subtle belief. An encounter is

difficult to understand or convey through words, it is simply best when experienced.

In this Blessing system, seeking God for an encounter is an important key for success and

longevity. My encounter with the Seed happened following my encounter with the Tithe—

while laying on my bed one night, I asked The Lord, “why is the Tithe still not bringing me

the kind of results I want?” God responded in two simple words, “the Seed”.

To sow simply means to let go of something that will produce for you. The book of

Malachi 3:8 teaches about the Tithe and Seed combination. At the time it somehow felt,

this combination as a requirement was “the law”. However, I obediently began doing it—

faithfully adding Seed to my Tithe and the results were (and still are) absolutely

phenomenal.

“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,

So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,

Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field…”

Malachi:11.

Jesus sees the Seed as one of the most important commodities on the earth. The Seed is

paramount in God’s plan to increase everything on this earth, see Genesis 1:29 and Genesis

2:8. Pay attention, seek an encounter with Seed sowing, many times the secret lies between

the lines—in what’s not being said. Having such an experience will brand your spirit and

your mind, you will become enlightened and convinced beyond any doubt. When you do

have an encounter with Seed sowing, there is no burden in doing it.

Trust the Seed

The Seed itself works by its own hidden virtues. The Seed, when sown, is transformed by set

and specific laws that produces the same results each time—the sower knows nothing of

this mysterious process. However, when Seed is sown you can trust the Seed.

Every Seed has specific instructions built into it, it knows exactly what to do and how to do

it. The instructions built into the Seed triggers the increase—growth and multiplication. It is

designed to give you more of what you already have, what you’ve sown. (Genesis 1:11 NLT).

There is an account told in The Bible where the disciples asked Jesus about increase

(how to get more of what you already have). Jesus responded, “the Seed, as it knows

exactly what to do”; (see Luke 17:5-6 NLT), before you could say what you want, you

must have seed in the ground.

In this account Jesus conducted a Seed training session, where He went into great

details about the Seed and the mysterious formula built into it, which produces

increase (getting more of what you already have). The Seed always knows exactly what

to do in all instances, regardless of different soil types or situations etc.

(Mark 4:27 AMP, vs. 1-2 KJV, 3 AMP, 4-8 KJV).

When you have an encounter with the covenant, and can

clearly see your part of it, it is the last day that Satan can

trick or fool you.

In doing, is where the power lies. When you understand the

covenant, it becomes like a tool in your hands. You can

work it to get the same results every single time.

The Seed Covenant

Covenant can best be described as a permanent agreement between God and His

people, in which promises are fulfilled by God. God has His part of the agreement

and you will have your part. God’s part is unyielding and He can always be trusted––

once our part of the covenant is fulfilled, God will surely fulfill His part. Therefore,

your part of any covenant will always require a committed and agreeable effort to

ensure your part is fulfilled.

Jesus started His Seed training session by stretching everyone to pay careful

attention. He always began by using a certain phrase, “give attention to this! Behold

a sower went out to sow.” (Mark 4:3 AMP).

Your careful attention can mean you’re one step closer to having an encounter with

the covenant. When you have an encounter with the covenant, you will become

enlightened—you’re then able to clearly see and effortlessly do your part of the

agreement. More notably, the devil will never be able to trick you again.

(Job 42:5 AMP)

“In prayer there is a connection between what God does and what you do. You can’t get forgiveness from God, for instance, without also forgiving others. If

you refuse to do your part, you cut yourself off from God’s part.” Matthew:14-15.

“And this is what will happen: When you, on your part, will obey these directives, keeping and following them, God, on his part, will keep the

covenant…” Deuteronomy7:12-13MSG.

“But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to

internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth].if anyone only listens to the word obeying it, he is like a man who

looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror; has looked at himself and gone away, he immediately forget she looked like.”

James 1:22-24 AMP.

“Keep this Book of the Law on your lips; meditate it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and

successful.” Joshua 1:8.

What is the Seed covenant?

(2 Corinthians 9:6-8 AMP, Galatians 6:7 J.B. Phillips).

My part:

To sow Seeds generously.

God’s part:

To make ALL grace, every favor “for” earthly blessing come to you under ALL

circumstances, whatever the need be and to multiply the seed you sow.

“Now [remember] this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows[that blessings may come to others] will also reap[and be

blessed]. Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a

cheerful giver [and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift].God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to

you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-

sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work of charity.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 AMP.

And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of

your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].

2 Corinthians 9:10 AMP

“God is able.”

Don’t be afraid to sow financial Seed, this is your part of the covenant. Become

faithful and generous in your sowing, only then God is obligated to do His part—so

test Him by doing your part. God is able! Your financial Seed is more important

than just any seed. Your financial Seed has in it, the ability to meet any type of need

in your life. (Philippians 4:15-19 AMP).

The Seed Test

God wants to bring you into a certain standard of living. He is testing you to qualify and

entrust you with this lifestyle. However, it firstly requires that you pass the Seed test

before you can get there. (Deuteronomy 8:2-16 MSG).

While you’re being tested there will be battles that you’d need to fight. The devil fights a

constant war against the Seed, he will do everything in his limited power to distract

you–– causing you to replace your focus, shifting your attention, while preventing you

from sowing Seeds. The devil does this because he knows that the Seed is the only thing

that can increase you, giving you more of what you already have. He knows that the

process of Seed sowing is miraculous and mysterious. (Genesis 1:11 NLT, Mark 4:27

AMP).

This war over the Seed has been ongoing since the very beginning––in the Garden of

Eden. (Genesis:14-15/MSG, Luke:11-12 NLT, Exodus 1:15-16, Matthew 2:13-16,

Revelation 12:17).

Page 19: ISBN 978-3-16-148410-0€¦ · Cover design by: Sherelle Ravello Edited by: Candace Mohammed No portion of this book may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted

13

If you’re finding it too challenging to sow Seeds during the hard times, you will never

get to the good times. It is important that you pass the test of Seed sowing during

the hard times (2 Corinthians 8:1- 4 MSG).

During the hard times, it is the Seed that has the guarantee to prosper you—

producing peace, prosperity and increase. Your salary or your business cannot bring

you this guarantee.

(Zechariah:10-12 AMP, Genesis 26:1-3,6,12-14 AMP).

“We will have to pay attention, even to the things that are being said indirectly—we

should purpose ourselves to recognize the concept of Seed as monetary throughout

the Bible”. (2 Corinthians 9:6-7 AMP).

In this system, the size of your Seed matters. A change in

C H A P T E R 5

Size Does Matter

The size of your Seed has the ability to change your levels. If someone asked me how

they can change their financial levels, I’d always respond, “change the size of your Seed”.

“God lavish you with good things: children from your womb, offspring from your animals, and crops from your land, the land that

God promised your ancestors that he would give you. God throw open the doors of his sky vaults and pour rain on your land on

schedule and bless the work you take in hand. You will lend to many nations but you yourself won’t have to take out a loan. God make you the head, not the tail; you’ll always be the top dog, never the

bottom dog, as you obediently listen to and diligently keep the commands of God, your God, that I am commanding you today.”

Deuteronomy 28:11-13 MSG.

“Don’t be under any illusion: you cannot make a fool of God! A man’s harvest in life will depend entirely on what he sows...”

Galatians 6:7 KJV/ Phillips.

16

Why change the size of your Seed?

A small sower is only qualified for a small harvest, but a big sower is always qualified

for a big harvest. You will always receive your harvest in direct proportion with the

level of your sowing. God will make you rich only by the size of your seed and He is

only obligated to multiply the Seed sown.

(2 Corinthians 9:6 ERV / The Voice / NCV / MSG, 2 Corinthians 9:11 NOG / ERV).

One of my leaders reminded me of a Seed sown to them some years ago–– we

bought them their wedding rings. During that time my wife and I didn’t have much

financially. However, we committed to the Seed and in order for us to sow that

specific Seed, we had to really believe God for it— we sowed even when we did not

have. There is a clear difference between a sower and someone who just sows. A

sower is someone who makes their living by depending on the covenant of the Seed

and Tithe. Being a sower means to become so ruthless about your seed sowing, that

you’d decide on Seed––believing God for it, even when you don’t know how, (see

Mark 4:26-28). This is how you’d know the level of your faith—regarding what you

sow and what you choose to ask God for. Your Seed is a marker of your faith. Check

the level of your Seed, it tells you the level of your faith to receive from God.

17

The Seed, which is part of God himself, makes us like God––

anyone who possess Seed has become a creator. God is life

and He is the one that has placed Seed in everyone and

everything on this earth. Man has been given Seed (the

ability to reproduce), the devil never had the ability to

reproduce. Therefore, there’s a continual fight between the

devil and the Seed.

The Seed Fight

The devil will always fight the Seed because he knows it is the only thing on this

earth that has the ability to reproduce itself––giving you more of the same kind.

Nothing else has this ability, only the Seed. (Genesis 1:11 NLT).

The same God that prompts you to sow Seed, is the same God that will bring the

harvest––He will always multiply the Seed sown.

“Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and

increase the fruits of your righteousness” 2 Corinthians 9:10.

Seed is most important because it is part of God himself.

JESUS is a Seed.

“Through your seed (Christ) all the nations of the earth shall be blessed” Genesis 22:18 AMP)

“I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your Seed and her Seed. He

(Jesus) will bruise his (the devil) head.” (Genesis 3:15 NKJV)

From the very beginning there was contention regarding the seed. However, the seed will

always triumph because "the Seed (Jesus) will bruise the devil’s head.“

CHILDREN are Seeds.

(Genesis 22:17)

“And your descendants (Seed) shall posses the gate of his enemies.”

(Exodus 1:15-17)

Pharaoh initiated an operation to kill the children.

BEING BORN AGAIN is a Seed.

(Galatians 3:29) (Ephesians 6:10-12) (Daniel 7:25)

We become Seeds when we accept Christ.

Seed means promise––the moment you accept Christ, you become the Seed of Abraham and

you receive the promise of Abraham. However, as Christians, we will have to fight against, or

wrestle–– resisting the devil!

THE WORD is a Seed.

(Luke 8:11) (Mark 4:16-17)

The Word of God is a Seed, the devil brought persecution and offense because of it.

Affliction and persecution comes because of the Word of God. The devil knows that the word

is a Seed which has the ability to grow and reproduce. He doesn't want you to believe what

the word of God says you can have, do or be. Don't become offended when you hear things

you don’t understand, it's the devil’s plan to steal the Seed and the word planted in you.

Page 26: ISBN 978-3-16-148410-0€¦ · Cover design by: Sherelle Ravello Edited by: Candace Mohammed No portion of this book may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted

20

If you become offended, choosing not to believe God’s word about the Seed for

example, then you can never receive what is promised for the sower.

MONEY is Seed.

(2 Corinthians 9:6-8) (Matthew 13:24-25)

Money Seed will always have a fight against it, perhaps the strongest fight. The devil

knows that if God’s people become rich financially the Gospel would spread and so

much good will be multiplied across nations. The Devil’s main fight against the money

Seed is to prevent you from sowing. The longer you keep your seed in your hands, the

greater the fight is against it. However, if you do pass the stage of placing your money

Seed in the ground, you've already won this battle. Although he has strategies to try

spoiling your expected harvest, the guaranteed way to ensure you receive your harvest

is to become a Tither. Your harvest must be and will be protected. (Malachi 3:8-11).

21

When you choose the covenant life, your greatest enemy

becomes your very own feelings. The devil uses your

feelings to ruin your expected harvest. For example, if things

aren’t looking the way you’d hope at any given point, you

may then become overwhelmed by feelings of doubt,

worry, fear etc––then you may begin speaking negativity,

essentially diluting your harvest. Covenant is agreement and

your feelings simply won’t matter when it comes to it.

Purpose yourself to wage a war against your own feelings––

your greatest weapon can be in trusting the covenant.

To Hell With How I Feel

The Covenant is Real

As Christians, we are so accustomed to standing up against the devil, our enemies,

people and so many other elements in our lives. However, at some point we will have to

stand up to our own feelings! Feelings are up, down, good, bad, they come and they

go—they are just too unstable and simply should not be trusted.

Whether you feel sad, unsure, confused, pressured, doubtful, tired, uncertain, lonely,

hopeless etc—you can’t trust in your feelings. (Proverbs 3:5).

“Sovereign Lord, you are God! Your covenant is trustworthy, you have promised these good things to your servant.”

2 Samuel 7:28NIV.

Trust the covenant because:

- It is stable and cannot be shifted. (Psalm 119:89-90 AMP).

- It is impossible for the one (God) who made the covenant to lie. (Hebrews:18).

- He keeps every detail of His side (2 Samuel 23:5 CEB).

- He can be depended upon (Deuteronomy 7:9).

- He will never break His promise to you (2 Samuel 23:5 CEV).

Page 29: ISBN 978-3-16-148410-0€¦ · Cover design by: Sherelle Ravello Edited by: Candace Mohammed No portion of this book may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted

23

The one who made the covenant does not break or change it, ever––not even because of

how we feel. (Psalm 89:34-35 ERV, Numbers:19).

To prove that we can trust the covenant, God reassured us that as long as we can see the

sun and the moon or as long as we can see a rainbow, that He will keep His side of the

agreement. See Jeremiah 33: 20-21 AMP and Genesis 9:8-17 NLT.

A Change of Levels

My wife and I have been through many financially low seasons in our lives. How we

changed our financial levels only happened after we had an encounter with sowing a one

hundred-thousand-dollar Seed. This was the very first time we had ever sown Seed on

that level—it was also the very first one hundred thousand dollars we had ever been able

to save in our entire lives, debt free. While on vacation with my family, I heard The Lord

clearly when He asked, “what if I told you to sow it?”. I already knew what the “it” meant

and in agreement, I spoke to my wife about what I had heard. Within just two hours, in

an act of ruthless obedience to what I heard, our one hundred thousand dollars became

Seed in the ground. After a few short months, we began to see a practical change in our

financial levels, we saw our standard of living increase. One hundred thousand dollar

returns, became the recurring pattern of what we began receiving. Additionally, a couple

months of living this new level, we then received the actual harvest of that hundred-

thousand-dollar Seed.

26

Someone gave my wife and I two brand new, large and beautiful properties, debt free.

We’ve received both properties within three months time, each worth over one million

dollars. In each case the individuals stated that God spoke to them to do it. This is the

level I’m trying to get you to—a level where you don’t have to speak to someone to get

something done—a level where God does the speaking and you become the beneficiary

of that conversation.

Where God was able to bring us, amazed us beyond words. We’ve since increased the

level of our Seed sowing as this genuine encounter with Seed taught us the very practical

and valuable formula for changing financial levels, causing our standard of living to rise.

“...Your standard of living will go up and up...” Deuteronomy 8:13 MSG.

God is interested in changing your levels. However, you must want it and be willing to

make the necessary steps required to get to it. Don’t be a person who just “likes” the

idea of living life on a prosperous level, but be someone who is willing to take full

responsibility to do so. You won’t change financial levels based on your opinions or

feelings, you can only change your financial levels (or general levels) by sheer obedience

to principles, covenants, laws etc. Leveling up requires taking actions and consistently

working the principles. God is only obligated by covenant to multiply the Seeds you’ve

sown. The moment you decide to increase the level of your Seed, your life will begin to

level up!

Even Solomon knew that Seed sowing was the secret for increase—therefore he committed

himself to offer a special Seed to The Lord three times per year. (1 Kings 3:4 & 1 Kings

9:25).

If you can’t understand Seed sowing, then there’s no other parable mentioned in the Bible

that you’d understand. Jesus said, “You are permitted to understand THE SECRETS of the

Kingdom of God.” (Mark 4:11 NLT).

Life is based on cause and effect. It is said that poor men believe in luck and chance, while

rich men believe in cause and effect. “The curse causeless shall not come”, the same goes

for the opposite—you must do what causes the blessings to come. (Proverbs 26:2).

Blessings are caused! Therefore, if you obey the secrets to increase—consistently doing

what is required, the blessings will consistently flow. (Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 15 NIV).

After you have sown Seed there is a waiting time for your harvest. During this period,

purpose yourself to seek The Holy Spirit—spend time fasting, praying in the Spirit etc.

While waiting, The Holy Spirit has vowed to step in and help us.

(Romans 8:26-27 MSG).

However, there is a way to by-pass this waiting time. There’s a secret that I’ve learnt

and applied––because of it, I’ve been able to avoid this waiting time. The simple secret

lies in sowing different Seeds at different times. This allows your Seed and harvest to

catch a rhythm—resulting in frequent harvest. Everything about life is rhythm. When

you catch a rhythm with Seed, your harvest flow is better (Amos 9:13 MSG, Leviticus

26:3-10 TLB). You’d begin to live a life without having the wait time between seed and

harvest. For example, sowing Seeds at different times can allow you to receive the

harvest of a Seed sown two months ago, even when you’ve just sown a Seed today.

When things fall into a rhythm, it’s like beautiful music. This is the secret to avoid the

long waiting times to receiving your harvest. You can get to that “more than enough”

level quickly, when harvest can meet harvest––where there is no waiting time between

Seeds sown and harvest. Your Seed quality is important. Sow your best to keep

receiving a strong harvest. (Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 AMP).

"Winds" will always be contrary when the challenge is

stepping out in faith for things out of the ordinary. However,

don't make decisions based on what you see, feel or think—

make decisions based on principles. Based on knowledge of

what The Word says, what Jesus says. Keep your eyes on

Jesus and don’t panic in the process.

Don’t Panic in the Process

During the process of Seed sowing, stepping out in faith feels risky, it can seem

easier to go back to what seems comfortable and safe. However, you must be

strong––never allow what you see, think or hear, to direct your decisions. Stick with

the process. Returning to your comfort zone is to return to a life on the same low

level, essentially failing the test and the process that can take you to the next level.

(Matthew 14:22-31).

For example, stretching yourself to honor your pastor may be out of your comfort

zone, but this is a key principle for your success. Honoring your Pastor should never

be done out of convenience, but done based on covenant––your part and God’s part.

The test of patience helps you discover why you exist––your

purpose. The earth is governed by time and where there is

time, patience is required. Before any harvest, you need

patience. When Seed is sown, even in the natural, there is

always a waiting time before you receive your harvest.

The Test of Patience

The patience test is one that you must pass in order to begin living a life of purpose.

Patience is the only vehicle that can take you through the process of Seed sowing safely,

maturing you and developing you for a life of no lack. Developing through the process

improves you as an individual and strengthens your relationship with God. The process is

necessary to birth the genius in you. Only through the process can genius ideas or plans

be birthed. (Deuteronomy 8:1-9).

If you can't pass the test of patience, you won't get to your promised land. Patience is an

important part of this Blessing system and is an equally essential key to seed time

(patience) and harvest (Genesis:22).

In this Blessing system, patience is necessary––it gives you hope while you endure your

process. In the world system however, there’s no hope while you wait. (James 1:2-4

AMP/MSG).

God does not forget covenant, He is God and He won’t forget what He agreed to—

neither will He forget that you have done your side of the agreement. Be patient, be

humble and continue in covenant practice.(Deuteronomy 4:31, Hebrews:10).

Everyone has a scheduled day to get out of debt once and

for all. If you give up, you will miss that day. Purpose

yourself to sit under the anointing of increase until your

day comes.

(Isaiah 10:27, Galatians 6:9 NLT).

Supernatural Debt Reduction

And Cancellation

Whether you’ve failed to control your impulses through borrowing or spending, or have

been unprepared for the unexpected, somewhere along the lines you may have incurred

some type of unwantedmfinancial debt. There are four quality decisions that each person

must make to get out and stay out of financial debt:

-No more borrowing

-Never use what doesn’t belong to you

-Business involvement

-Saving

The single greatest decision a person can make in order to come out of debt, is the

quality decision not to borrow. Borrowing places us in a servile position, befitting a slave

or menial person, (Proverbs 22:7).

It also roots us deeper in financial debt––borrowing builds debt. (Romans 13:8 AMP).

While borrowing is not considered a sin, it can become an unnecessary weight that traps

or entangles us, in a seemingly never ending struggle, (Hebrews 12:1 AMP).

For the poor, money is regarded as simply paper. For the rich, money is a mentality—a

certain way of thinking, (Proverbs 23:7). Getting out of debt is not just about a mental

decision—it is also a spiritual one, (Zechariah 1:17). This spiritual decision is called a

conviction or a heart persuasion, (Mark 11:23). This conviction comes through

meditating on God's word—on the scriptures that promises and teaches debt freedom,

which brings enlightenment, (Joshua 1:8 AMP).

Every account of supernatural debt cancellation and reduction in the Bible, included a

Prophet/ Leader who carried that anointing of Increase. Hearing, believing and most

importantly obeying my spiritual leader played an important part for me getting out of

debt.

Hearing - (See 1 Samuel 22:1-2/30:19)

Believing - (See 2 Chronicles 20:20)

Obeying - (See Hebrews 13:17)

Tithing and Sowing, especially sacrificial Seed sowing, targets your debt, destroying the

spiritual entanglement of financial bondage called a curse. (Malachi 3:6-12 ERV).

Financial turn around from the captivity of debt, responds only to sacrificial Seed.

(Psalms 126:4-6 AMP).

(Sacrificial sowing is the act of strategically giving something that is precious, costly and

maybe your last—something you can barely afford, as a Seed unto God—with an express

purpose of getting an extraordinary breakthrough).

Take your seed sowing to the next level,

a level where God speaks to people

and you become the beneficiary

of that conversation—God tells them what to do for you.

We all have seed in and around us,

but we must be open to recognize it.

In this book, you will discover

the many benefits of seed sowing.

God entrusts us with “more”

when we take responsibility

for the type of life we should live.
