We’re all about inspiring the next generation to love dance, gain confidence, and create lifelong friendships

If you’re looking for a nurturing space for your child to build strength, dance skill, and artistry through creativity and authentic performance, you’re found it.

With students from two years of age to late teens, Westside delivers everything from fun and laughter through to exceptional training in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Tap, HipHop and Cheer.

No matter what they choose, our students thrive within the diverse curriculum that’s been created with love and a passion for dance.

Whatever creative outlet you’re looking for, you’ll find it at Westside.


How do I know where my child fits?

At WPA, we believe in making things simple and straightforward. All of our classes align with age and school year, making it easy for friends to undertake their journey together.

We’ve outlined each level below. Choose your intensity, from Gold through to Bronze.

All packages include:

• Registration fee • Concert t-shirt • Downloadable copy of the concert, and • Presentation medal.

FEES

Fees are direct debited monthly over 12 months of the year starting in January. In 2021 we’re also introducing WPA All – an all-inclusive tuition of one fee for the entire year split over 12 monthly payments via direct debit.

The all-inclusive package includes:

• Dance fees (not including school holidays) • Registration and insurance fees • Concert t-shirt • Link to end of year performance video and all digital downloads • Extra performance rehearsals, and • Presentation medal.


PACKAGES

MINI MOVERS (AGES 2-3) AND GROOVERS (AGES 4-5)

Who: PRESCHOOL, Ages 2 – 5

What: Combo class chock full of fun and covering technique, stretch and jazz.

ENCHANT

Who: Kindy – Year 1, Ages 5 – 7 What: Combo class with Ballet/technique, tap, jazz, and smiles galore. Anything else? Add on Acro or performance troupe (invitation only).

ENGAGE Who:

• Primary Ages 7 – 9/Years 2-3 • Pre-junior Ages 9 – 11 / Years 4-5 Note: Each age group has a separate timetable.

What: Explore to your heart’s content with:

• Ballet and Jazz (Bronze) • Compulsory Ballet and Jazz and add Tap and

Acro (Silver) • Unlimited classes including

Performance/Troupe Stream, Ballet and Jazz (compulsory) and add on any or all of: Tap, Acro, Extension Ballet, Extension Tap, and Performance Troupe (invitation only) (Gold).


EXCITE

Who:

• Junior Ages 11 – 14/Years 6, 7 and 8

What:

• Ballet and Jazz (Bronze)

• Ballet and Jazz (compulsory) and choose from Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Kick Leaps and turns, and Drama (Silver)

• Unlimited classes including Performance/Troupe Stream. Ballet and Jazz are compulsory, and add on any or all Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, KLT (Kicks, Leaps and Turns), Lyrical, Extension Ballet, and Extension Tap (Gold) Note: Performance Troupe must do Extension Ballet.

ELEVATE

Who: Ages 14 –18 / Years 9, 10, 11 and 12

What:

• KLT (Kicks, Leaps and Turns) and Jazz (Bronze) • KLT (Kicks, Leaps and Turns) and Jazz (compulsory), and choose from Ballet 1, Extension Ballet, Tap, Extension Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, and Lyrical (Silver) • Unlimited classes including Performance/Troupe Stream, KLT and Jazz (compulsory), and add on any or all from Ballet 1, Ballet 2, Tap 1, Tap 2, Acro, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Kick Leaps and Turns (Gold).

STAND-ALONE CLASSES

ACTING

Who: From 7 Years / Year 2

What: Drama is very popular at Westside! It’s great for building confidence, making friends, and playing awesome games while building skills in public speaking and characterisation.

Add drama to a dance package or do it as a stand-alone option – the choice is yours!


ACROBATICS

Keen to do Acro?

We cater to Beginner through to Elite levels.

Add it to a dance package or Acro as a stand-alone option – it’s up to you!

LOVE BALLET?

Join our extension ballet program!

This program includes the opportunity to perform in our ballet piece during our end-of-year concert spectacular.

All students study RAD Classical Ballet Syllabus; we believe it’s the best and strongest in the world. Great technical results can be achieved but you have to put in the hard work.

What: Two ballet classes per week

Ballet add on to dance: Taking a Bronze or Silver package in dance? Add an extension Ballet class!
