Reaching Out, Transforming Lives

It is God’s love that compels us to serve others . As those whom Christ has lavished his love upon, it is our privilege to express that same love for others. Hope for Juveniles Ministry targets the social outcasts of Malawian society—those gripped by darkness and immersed in fear, hope-lessness, and shame. Hope for Juveniles Ministry 2010

There is always joy to see people who are re-garded as outcasts coming to God and embracing the Gos-pel truth. There is inexplicable joy to see men behind bars growing into maturity in their spiritual walk with Christ having learned the sound doctrine of the faithful Fa-ther and a gracious God. How precious to hear their encouraging testimonies on Radios and how God is using them to transform the lives of people when they get out of prison after they have faithfully finished serving penal sentence. People like , Square Valamanja. Very encour-aging to see Witman leading the inmates follow-ing the example of Paul while he was in prison. HJM rejoices together with heaven over the gracious work God is doing at Kachere Juve-niles Prison.

OUR VISION The vision for Hope For Juveniles Ministry is to evangelize by discipling juveniles in prisons of Ma-lawi and sharing God’s love through Bible studies and hospitality (holistic). It is our heartbeat to sup-port, influence, and transform juveniles mentally, spiritually, socially, and academically by bringing them the Chris-tian commu-nity, spiri-tual enrich-ment, and moral in-struction possible only we trust in the Gospel.

Our Mission

To share God’s love, providing medical care, op-portunity to quality education, nurturing juveniles into mature men, industrious, independent, and productive citizens.

Our Commitment is to meet: 1. Spiritual needs. 2. Healthy needs. 3. Educational needs.

4. Food security needs. This is why our Ministry (Hope for Juveniles) ad-dresses the whole person by bringing him the trans-forming Gospel and hospi-tality.

When these in-mates finish serving their penal sentence, HJM pro-vides transport home a Bi-ble and also does not over-look that these need to proceed with education and therefore finds place for them and gives scholarship to deserving students for further education.

HJM provides Bibles, and other Christian literature to the inmates for their personal study, and growth. We initiate for inmates, access to medical personnel., access to a balanced diet, and provides different assorted food items for their good health. Not everyone can be physically found there at Kachere Prison serving but we can do it together through your help ugh your help.
