LEVEL 2: RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
• People follow because they want to.• Leaders work to get to know
and connect with people.• Need to like people to lead well.• Based on relationships.• Don't rely on your title.
LEVEL 3: PRODUCTION
• People follow because of what you have done for the organization.
• Be successful.• Be good at what you do.• Get things done.• Build influence with successful
track record and producing results.
PRODUCTION• Poise• Listens effectively• Team Building• Character• Attitude• Integrity• Sound decision making• Results driven• Lifelong learner• Problem solver• Checklists• Evaluations• Pre Season Parent Meetings
LEVEL 4: PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT
• People follow because of what you have done for them.
• Develop other people and help them be successful.
• Invest in people and help them grow.
• Intentionally help others grow.• Help others be successful.
PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT
• Good leaders don't belittle people, they enlarge them.
• People move toward someone who increases them and away from anyone who decreases them.
• An appeal to honor is always more effective than a threat of punishment.
• You don't win with X's and O's, what you win with is people.
• There is no greater inspiration in the world than to feel someone believes in us.
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
• Relationally connected people can change the form and function of the mind.
• Leadership is always a people business.• People don't care how much you know
until they know how much you care.• The quality of our relationships defines
us.• Relationship building is always the
foundation of effective leadership.
LEVEL 5: PINNACLE
• People follow because of who you are and what you represent.
• Highest and most challenging level.• Create a legacy in what you do.• Transcend their position,
organization, and industry.• Build other leaders.• Invest in others for the long haul.
PINNACLE
• Develop leaders at all levels.
• Make heroes out of people.
• Embody points of view into living stories.
• Leave a legacy.
