We took a quick survey…

asked 50 random Muhlenberg students what they thought of the social life on campus.

Were they happy with the current social scene?

20 said yes18 were neutral

12 said no

We got to talking with these students and found that…

they felt like there was a lack of “cool” casual social activities on campus.

even though they like the new dining facility, they missed the cozier feel of the “old Seegers”.

many found MAC’s programming to be insufficient, out of touch with reality and “so freshman year”.

one of the most common casual weekend activities was movie watching.

So we developed Iron Den… a movie lounge that aims to to provide

a sophisticated and comfortable environment where Muhlenberg students are able to have an in-home cinematic theater experience. Iron Den's convenient location provides accessibility for all students to enjoy a current film and traditional snacks with a unique charm.
