The UCD Open Day takes place on the Belfield Campus located 4km south of Dublin city centre.

The modern parkland campus contains over 8km of woodland walkways, 5 student villages and world-class teaching and

student facilities including a state-of-the-art Student Centre.

We have over 100 programme and subject-specific talks taking place in 6 locations on campus: UCD Newman, the Lochlann Quinn School of Business, the O’Brien Centre for Science, the Health Sciences Centre, the Global Lounge, and Sutherland School of Law.

PlaneDublin is served by Dublin International Airport. There are frequent connecting buses from the airport to the city centre. Airlink connects Dublin Airport with a number of popular Dublin locations.

Train/Bus from City Centre π Heuston Train Station: the Dublin Bus

route 145 from Heuston Station serves UCD.

π Connolly Train Station: take the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) service southbound to Sydney Parade station. UCD is a short walk from Sydney Parade.

π Dublin Bus: the UCD campus is served by the following bus routes: No. 17, 39a and 46a.

Take a guided tour of the main buildings and facilities of the university.

Student Centre Tours

A tour of the new Student Centre, which includes a 50m olympic size pool, 3D cinema, debating chamber and state of the art gym and exercise studios.

UCD Clinical Skills Labs [Health Sciences]

This tour may be of particular interest for students considering Nursing, Midwifery or Health Systems courses.

UCD O’Brien Centre for Science

This tour will be of interest to students considering Science.

UCD Sutherland School of Law

This tour may be of interest for students considering Law or Business and Law courses.

We invite you come along to see the UCD Symphony Orchestra during the day as they perform an open rehearsal outside the Astra Hall in the Student Centre. The rehearsal takes place from 1pm-4pm so feel free to pop in anytime during the day.

The UCD Symphony Orchestra consists of over 80 student members, from a huge range of academic disciplines. The orchestra performs regularly in the National Concert Hall and performs a diverse body of repertoire, from large-scale symphonic works to film scores, music for children and popular music.
