Day 3 – Depart for Old Head Links Golf Course in Cork, built on a 220 acre diamond of land, jutting out over two miles into the Atlantic Ocean. The course is a par 72 and stretches out over 7,200 yards. All eighteen holes provide stunning ocean views.

Day 4 – Depart for Ballybunion Golf Course, located on the North West coast of County Kerry, on a beautiful stretch of sand dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The course exudes a majestic feel that cannot be compared.

Day 1 – Arrive at Dublin Airport where you will be met by your Journey Through Ireland guide. Travel to Kildare by coach. Overnight in the 5* K Club Hotel where you will spend 5 nights.

Day 2 – Depart for the European Golf Club between Arklow & Wicklow. Ranked number 8 in the top golf courses in Ireland, The European club is widely regarded as one of the last great links courses to be built in the 20th Century. Tiger Woods currently holds the course record of 67.

Day 3 – Depart for Faithlegg Golf Course in Waterford. The course was home to the PGA Euro Pro Tour in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Day 4 – Depart for Mount Juliet in Kilkenny. Ranked number 15 in the top golf courses in Ireland, Mount Juliet was designed by Jack Nicklaus and first opened in 1991. Mount Juliet has hosted the Irish Open on three occasions and was the venue for the Shell Wonderful World of Golf event. At the WGC in 2002 at Mount Juliet, 49 of the top 50 golfers in the world took part, including overall winner, Tiger Woods. In 2004, Mount Juliet once again hosted the WGC - where on this occasion, Ernie Els was the deserving victor.

Set in a world of its own, on lush parkland in the south east of Ireland, the course is both captivating and memorable.

Day 5– Today you will play in the world famous K Club. Designed by Arnold Palmer, The Palmer Ryder Cup Course and The Smurfit Course are considered two of Europe's finest Championship Courses. No golf trip to Ireland is complete without playing in the K Club where you can play both the Ryder Cup and European Open golf courses at one venue.

Day 6 – Depart for Portmarnock Golf Course. Portmarnock has hosted some of the greatest golfing tournaments including the Irish Open, Canadian Cup and the Jacques Leglise.

Day 7 – Depart for The Island Golf Course. The Island Golf Club is located on the middle of three estuary-barrier complexes that lie at the mouths of estuaries in North County Dublin. Day 1 – Arrive at Shannon airport where you will be met by your Journey Through Ireland guide.

Overnight in the 4*Radisson Blu in Sligo where you will spend 3 nights.

Day 2 – Depart for Enniscrone Golf Course in Sligo. Among the finest and most challenging traditional Irish links courses. Enniscrone offers 27 holes on 400 acres of magnificent links lands, featuring the par 73 Dunes Championship Links Course.

Day 3 – Depart from Rosses Point. Another one of Ireland’s great championship links and has hosted most of Ireland’s major championships in its long and venerable history. Three large beaches beneath the cliffs keep the Atlantic Ocean at bay as Benbulben Mountains competes with the ocean for scenic splendour on the land side.

Day 4– Depart for Rosnapenna in Donegal. Home to two championship links courses (Sandy Hills and Old Tom Morris) in one stunning coastal location.

Overnight in 4* Harvey’s Point Hotel in Donegal where you will spend three nights.

Day 5 - Depart for Donegal Golf Club, Murvagh. This challenging Championship Links golf course occupies magnificent Murvagh peninsula in Donegal Bay, hence it is known locally as Murvagh. The course is isolated from the outside world by a forest of evergreens washed on one side by the great Atlantic Ocean and by Donegal Bay on the others. It has been described as the Muirfield of Ireland, similar in terrain with two loops of nine holes, the first nine an outer loop and the second nine an inner loop running in the opposite direction.

Day 6 – Depart for Ballyliffan Golf Course, Donegal’s most northerly golf club and is renowned for its hospitality, spectacular setting and outstanding presentation standards all year round.

Day 7 – Depart for Carne in Co. Mayo. The course was the last links course to be designed by the late Eddie Hackett and it is now believed by many to be his greatest challenge.

Designed by Ryder Cup star, Christy O’Connor Jnr, no matter what your level of golf expertise, the course is cleverly crafted, so you can tee off for a relaxing round while soaking up the Glasson atmosphere, or test your game to championship level.

DRUIDS GLEN Co. Wicklow

Ranked number 37 in the top golf courses in Ireland and known to many as the “Augusta of Europe” is famous for hosting the Irish open on four occasions. Druids Glen is a Championship 18 hole parkland course with beautifully manicured tree-lined fairways, historical landmarks and spectacular water features.

BUNCLODY GOLF CLUB Co. Wexford

Bunclody is situated in 300 acres of breathtaking parklands. Recently voted “The best hidden gem in Ireland”. The championship course runs over 7,000 yards on the banks of the river Slaney and has a diversity of golf holes, rarely seen on one golf course. Both a memorable and unique aspect of this course is the 18th hole where you are taken by elevator 5 floors up to the tee box giving a bird’s eye view over the river as you ascend.

Lahinch is undoubtedly one of the finest links courses to be found anywhere in the world. The most famous holes are the long 5th measuring 482 meters par 5 and the short 6th 155 meters. LOUGH ERNE (the faldo championship course) Co. Fermanagh

Designed by 6 time major winner Nick Faldo, Lough Erne is a 7,167 yard par 72 course with a spectacular setting. There are stunning views from every hole with the waters of the Lough coming into play on 11 holes. Fairways are link courses on a truly exceptional inland course. The touring professional for Lough Erne is the current number 1 player in the world Rory McIlory.

BALLYLIFFIN GOLF CLUB Co. Donegal

Ballyliffin boasts two championship links courses “The Old Links” and “Glashedy Links”. It is Donegal’s most northerly golf club and is renowned for its hospitality, spectacular setting and outstanding presentation standards all year round. Both courses offer a stern test measuring 6,937 yards and 7,220 yards respectively.

SLIGO GOLF CLUB (ROSSES POINT) Co. Sligo

Another one of Ireland’s great championship links and has hosted most of Ireland’s major championships in its long and venerable history. Three large beaches beneath the cliffs keep the Atlantic Ocean at bay as Benbulben Mountains competes with the ocean for scenic splendor on the land side. Many believe Rosses point offers the finest 18 holes in the country.

ROSAPENNA GOLF COURSECo. Donegal

Is home to two championship links courses (Sandy Hills and Old Tom Morris) in one stunning coastal location. Sandy Hills is in many ways the ideal of a modern golf links. Intended for the serious golfer, its narrow fairways appear constricting from the tee, but the landing areas sculpted from the dunes are deceptively wide. This really is a spectacular course.

ENNISCRONE THE DUNES GOLF CLUB Co. Sligo

Among the finest and most challenging traditional Irish links courses. Enniscrone offers 27 holes on 400 acres of magnificent links lands, featuring the par 73 Dunes Championship Links Course. The Dunes has quietly become one of Ireland’s top ranked championships links.

CARNE GOLF LINKSCo. Mayo

Carne in North Mayo on the West Coast of Ireland lies in magnificent unspoiled sand dunes overlooking Blacksod Bay and the Atlantic Ocean near the town of Belmullet. The course was the last links course to be designed by the late Eddie Hackett and it is now believed by many to be his greatest challenge. The course measures 6,119 yards and is a par 73.
