    1. INTRODUCTION OF THE INSTITUTION:Bizteks aspirations for excellence met many adversaries on its way. The journey that Biztek

started with a single step has covered a long distance in a short span of time. It accelerated our

momentum without any compromise on quality edification standards and knowledge

dissemination process. Biztek has developed a distinctive academic culture, uncommon in other

private institutes of higher learning. This was only possible because of our firm belief in Allah

Almighty and unshakable confidence in our noble cause for educating the nation, which helped

Biztek to overcome apparently insurmountable obstacles amicably. On way to perfection, Biztek

has been rewarded with many admirations like placement in top most categories by the Higher

Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, degree awarding status by Government of Sindh and

    ISO 9001:2000 Certification.

The eminence and performance are judged based on international parameters. The admirably

stocked library with online facilities have unlimited access worldwide including worlds best-

stocked libraries and more than 17,500 online research journals. The state of the art research

center, airconditioned classrooms, well equipped auditorium, multimedia teaching aids, WiFi atcampus, motivational student-teacher interaction, conversation based teaching system, highly

qualified, capable, well groomed and well experienced faculty, sports grounds and courts, all

merit to the distinction of BIZTEK.

Biztek expanded its infrastructure by building an East Wing building, which was inaugurated by

Dr. Hameeda Khoro, Provincial Minister of Education of Sindh. Stone Laying of West Wing

building was graced by His Excellency Mr Shaukat Aziz, Prime Minister of Pakistan. Work is in

progress for starting construction of North Wing building and an Auditorium. Biztek is not only

expanding its infrastructure at their main campus, but new campuses are opening to give an

opportunity to individuals to be a part of our success story and get quality education at their door

step. Due to the rapid growth of Biztek facilities and commitment for the best, the future of Biztek

    is extremely bright.

    CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE.

Biztek has completed its ten years of service to education in Pakistan. Bizteks first convocation

was held on November 10, 2006. More than 260 passed out graduates and post graduates received

their degrees in this convocation. The chief guest of the occasion was His Excellency Honorable

Governor of Sindh Dr.Ishrat ul Ebad Khan to grace the occasion., Also present on this occasion

were Mr.Ishaq Khakwani, Fedral Minister of state for IT & Telecom; Dr.Hameeda

Khoro,Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy.

Bizteks Management has always been very ambitious particularly when it comes to promoting

and projecting its students. Organizing Convocation in such a grandiose manner and approaching

the head of the state to honor its students are part of its ambitious plan for Biztek students. biztek

is sure this Convocation alone will motivate the students to an extent that they will excel in their

respective job assignments during their initial employment period.

    EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

At Biztek, we have a clear vision. We aim to achieve recognition both nationally and

internationally as a revered seat of higher learning. We are doing this through our

commitment to finding new modes of learning with focus on students

    What is Ecommerce:

Transacting or facilitating business on the Internet is called ecommerce.

Ecommerce is short for "electronic commerce."

  • 8/2/2019 iPhone Webite

    5/27

Popular examples of ecommerce revolve around buying and selling online.

But the ecommerce universe contains other types of activities as well. Any

form of business transaction conducted electronically is ecommerce.

    Examples of Ecommerce

OnlineShoppingBuying and selling goods on the Internet is one of the most popular examplesof ecommerce. Sellers create storefronts that are the online equivalents ofretail outlets. Buyers browse and purchase products with mouse clicks.Though Amazon.com is not the pioneer of online shopping, it is arguably themost famous online shopping destination.

Electronic PaymentsWhen you are buying goods online, there needs to be a mechanism to payonline too

    History of E.Commerce:

E-commerce (or electronic marketing as it was originally called) did not start withAmazon.com, EBay, or the iTunes Store, nor with anything to do with the Internetat all, as is commonly believed.

But it was the Internet that allowed E-Commerce to bloom into what it is today: thefastest growing retail method in the world, where in 2008, four out of every ten

retail purchase were made online thru an E-Commerce system.

Back in 1994, when everyone started surfing the web, it was much too dangerous todo something as foolhardy as enter your VISA number into an online form. Butnear the end of that decade, security protocols (for example, HTTPS) came online, and using your credit card was a no-brainer and pretty much safe from prying eyes.So the explosion began, and continues to this day.

  • 8/2/2019 iPhone Webite

    6/27

    Modern E-Commerce

It did not take long for marketing departments in both small and large companies to

see the potential savings and boosted sales opportunities in using e-commerce onthe Internet to reach customers.

Web technology also allowed retailers to track customer preferences and to deliverindividually-tailored marketing, as we all see today with targeted Google adverts onthe left, right, top or bottom of every page we visit.

    Advantages of E.Commerce:

Faster buying/selling procedure, as well as easy to find products.

No need of physical company set-ups

Easy to start and manage a business

    Disadvantages of Ecommerce:

Any one, good or bad, can easily start a business. And there are many bad sites

    which eat up customers money

There iys no guarantee of product quality

As there is minimum chance of direct customer to company interactions, customerloyalty is always on a check

    WHAT WE THOUGHT?

The aim of teaching this course is to create awareness about the efficiency that

concept of e-commerce has brought alongwith a scope of research that may lead to

furtherdevelopment and enhancement in this field with an opportunity to enjoy the

fruit of this new concept and hold a firm ground of concept when entering in the

practical field ensuring to stand unique and tall.

    3) PROPOSED IDEA:Grip mobiles are developed with an innovative idea of distributing iphone at every

house by delivering it just on few clicks of button. It aims to bring the concept of

fuss free shopping in reality. This new arena will surely end husband & wives,

    Different Models Of iPhone

iPhoneWe start with the one who started it all, the original iPhone. Though launched inJanuary of 2007, the first iPhones were officially released only on June 29, withtwo variants featuring 4GB and 8GB of storage. The phone featured therevolutionary (then unnamed) iPhone OS 1.0, which completely altered the waytouch phones were handled. Weighing 135 g, the phone with the dimensions of 115 61 11.6 mm was made of aluminum, glass and plastic and featured a 2MPcamera on the back with geotagging, but no video. The phone had a powerful 620MHz Samsung 32-bit RISC ARM 1176JZ (F)-S v1.0 processor, which wasunderclocked to 412 MHz and supported by a 128 MB DRAM. It featured all the

latest connectivity technologies, including Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), USB 2.0/Dockconnector, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Cambridge Bluecore4. The phone communicatedon Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz). The audio codecused was the versatile Wolfson Microelectronics WM8758BG. But the most awe-inspiring part was its 3.5 inch, scratch-resistant glossy glass covered 262,144-colorLCD screen, which featured a 3:2 aspect ratio and 480 320 px (HVGA)resolution at 163 ppi. The 4GB model was discontinued on September 5, 2007before launching a 16 GB model on February 5, 2008. But the journey was shortlived as the whole iPhone original range was discontinued as of July 11, 2008 withthe iPhone 3G taking over the reigns.

iPhone 3GThe second iteration literally took it to the big wigs riding high on its 3G-compliant technology and the iPhone OS2.0 (later upgradeable to iOS4.1). Thoughthe phone was bigger than the original (now 115.5 62.1 12.3 mm), it weighed 2grams lesser than the old phone, primarily due to use of only glass and plastic inconstruction. With extended battery life and storage options of 8 GB and 16 GB,

the phone was an instant hit with the consumers; post its launch on July 11, 2008.The new phone featured Assisted GPS and Tri-band communication overUMTS/HSDPA (850, 1900, 2100 MHz) and came pakcaged with a set ofearphones with mic. All other technical aspects were the same including thePowerVR MBX Lite 3D GPU, which powered the brilliant display, except that theaudio codec was changed to a peppier Wolfson Microelectronics WM6180C. TheiPhone 3G was available in two colors black and white for 16 GB variant, while

    1) LEVELS OF IFORMATION SYSTEM:DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM

    Adecision support system

(DSS) is a model-based or knowledge-based systemintended to support managerial decision making in semi-structured or unstructured

situations. A DSS is not meant to replace a decision maker, but to extend his/her

decision making capabilities. It uses data, provides a clear user interface, and can

incorporate the decision makers own insights.

A DSS is designed to be easy to use. User friendliness, graphical capabilities, and

an interactive human-machine interface greatly increase the effectiveness of a DSS.

    4.

    a) Database:Grip.com is dealing with various models of i-phone. The main aim of the data

base is to maintain the data of the inventory. The actual price of i-phone is

expected to be ranging from $132 to $259. phones are purchased in bulk from

the various companies through contract. The data base also maintains the

information regarding the mode of payment that is mostly used for the payment

of the desired i-phone model. The payment may be done via credit card, visa

debit card and the normal payment mode can also be done

The database also maintains the customers data, forms that they have filled during

the time of booking of their order along with the details of be used for the

promotion of our new products and new offers.

    Knowledge Base:

The knowledge base part of a DSS allows this expertise to be stored and accessed to

enhance the operation of other DSS components. For example, credit card

companies use a DSS to identify credit card thefts. This system may be applied in

our website inorder to ensure that payment is made in the appropriate manner; no

fake credit card is used or any dummy information is used for any transaction and

    for any inappropriate activity.

    User:

InGrip.com the DSS is designed for the managers and they aim to be friendly

enough that they may ensure the provision of data as soon as the managers require it

    and as they require it.

stores in the markets of Karachi. It is found that there is a huge sector of customer

that has been untouched by the market for the sale of I-phone as many people are

not ready to take the risk of going to the market and purchase such expensive

handsets as the market political and the city peace conditions are highly

unpredictable it may happen that within seconds some accident happens and the

whole city star showing the picture to a dark night mare. This situation is not new

for any city of the World but in this period of time this is prevailing highly in theareas of Karachi. This unpredictability and the restless situation can be utilized by

our Company in our favor and if it is ensured that booking of product its delivery

and its mode of payment is convenient and safe in such ways that any situation of

the city of ones own self will not pose any threat, this will encourage to attract the

nitch market and it proposes a promise of heavy profit.
