ClassificationsTheItalianOpenChampionshipswillofferclassificationopportunitiesinthedayspriorthestartofthecompetition.InternationalClassificationpanelswillbeavailableforthefollowingimpairments:

Anathletewillonlybepermittedtoundergoclassificationifheorshe:

• Isregisteredand/orlicensedwithIPCAthleticspursuanttotherelevantprovisionsintheIPCAthleticsRulesandRegulations,and

• HasbeenenteredintotheRecognisedCompetitionwhereInternationalClassificationistotakeplace.• HasuploadedaMedicalDiagnosticsForm(MDF)toSDMSwithinthespecifieddeadlines.

Whereclassificationschedulesarefull,athleteswhoarelicensedwilltakepriorityoverregisteredathletes.All athletes with a New (N) or Review (R) sport class status entered into the competition will be scheduled forClassificationinGrossetopursuanttotheaboveregulations.

ENTRYINFORMATIONAthleteswhowillbeeligibletoenterthecompetitionshallmeetthefollowingrequirements:

• Being14yearsoldbythedateofthecompetition;• BeingregisteredintheSDMSDatabase;• HavingcompletedandsubmittedtheHealthDeclarationformduringtheaccreditationprocess.

CompetitionwillstrictlycomplywiththeIPCAthleticsRulesandRegulations.Noentrycriteriaarerequiredtoenterthecompetition.

Accommodation

FattorialaPrincipinaHotelThe LOChas identified the Fattoria La Principina hotel asmainaccommodation site to host athletes andNPC/NFdelegationsparticipatingintheItalianOpenChampionships2016IPCAthleticsGrandPrix.The Fattoria La Principina is a resort situated in the Maremma Park in Tuscany and offers the highest level ofhospitalitywithfour-star-standardroomsandsmalldetachedbungalowsprovidedwithkitchenandbathroom.Catering service will operate for the entiredurationofthecompetition.International and Italian food will be servedaccording to the guests’ nutritional needs.NPC/NF delegations will be also given theoptionoforderingpacketlunchboxes.TheFattoria LaPrincipinahotel is located6kmaway from the competition venue. A freeshuttlebusservicewillbeprovidedbytheLOC.

VISAINFORMATION

NPC/NF delegations requiring a visa to enter Italy need to contact the LOC and send an official request to theTechnicalSecretariatassoonaspossible(grandprix@grossetosport.org).

Aftersubmittingtheirentries,NPC/NFdelegationscanrequestan invitation lettertotheeventtobesenttotheirrelevant National Consulates, and an official request to send to the LOC.Pleasemakesurealldetailsareenteredcorrectlyassoonaspossible.

NPC/NFdelegationsshouldpayatleast80%ofthetotalentryfeebeforesendingalettertotheLOCspecifyingthenumberandpersonaldetailsofthemembersofthedelegation.

TheLOCwon’tprovideanyconfirmationtoentrysubmissionsofNPC/NFdelegationsrequiringavisaiftheyaresentafter10March2016.

TheItalianOpenChampionships2016willorganisethevictoryceremoniesrelatedtotheeventsoftheIPCAthleticsGrandPrixaslistedontheIPCAthleticswebsite.
