PARIS, FRANCEParis has a timeless familiarity for first-time and frequent visitors, with instantly recognisable architectural icons, along with exquisite cuisine, chic boutiques and priceless artistic treasures.

With its iconic landmarks and monuments such as Notre Dame de Paris, the Eiffel Tower, La Défense (Grand Arche), the Louvre museum and numerous parks, it is no wonder it’s the most visited city in the world.

Paris’ grandeur is inspiring but its quartiers (quarters) are like a patchwork of villages, and while it’s one of the world’s major metropolises – with all of the culture and facilities that go with it – there’s a real sense of community at the local shops, markets and cafes that hasn’t changed since my childhood. Yet because every little ‘village’ has its own evolving character, constantly discovering and rediscovering hidden corners of the city.

Ipag Paris is located in the district of Saint Germain-des-Prés (in the heart of Paris), it is surrounded by numerous restaurants, universities, grandes écoles (business schools), and famous libraries making it an ideal place to study. It is also the headquarters of one of the oldest scholarly societies in France: the Society of Geography. Today, the Saint-Germain-des-Prés quarter continues to be a hub of student life, with many bookshops, cafés and cinemas.

NICE, FRANCEWith its mix of real-city grit, old-world opulence, year-round sunshine and stunning seaside location, Nice is the unofficial capital of the Côte d’Azur, and a must-see for every visitor. A magnet for sunseekers and high-rollers since the 19th century, this bewitching coastal city has so much going for it, it’s almost embarrassing – fabulous markets, an enticing old town, glorious architecture and a wealth of super restaurants. It’s far from perfect – it’s scruffy in spots, the traffic’s horrendous and the beach is made entirely of pebbles – but if you really want to soak up the Riviera vibe, there’s really no better place to do it.

Its temperate winters and lush subtropical climate have attracted students from all around the world for decades. It is the capital of the Riviera par excellence, and is an educational, business, and tourism centre. Students will enjoy Nice’s many museums, excellent beaches, fine cuisines, and the festive street life.

The Ipag campus is positioned in the centre of the city and within walking distance to conveniences such as shops, restaurants, libraries, transport connections. Students have the opportunity to travel to Monaco, Cannes, Menton and other surrounding places for 1euro by bus.

The Institut de Preparation à l’administration et à la Gestion (Ipag) established in 1965 is an accredited Business School in France with two campuses, one in the centre of Paris and the other in Nice.

IPAG was founded by Jacques Rueff, who was a member of the French Academy and advisor to General de Gaulle. It prepares students for management positions in the business world. The school is characterised by its academic requirements and ongoing dialogue with actors in economic life.

Ipag welcomed over 1800 students in 2013/2014 (700 of whom were international students who came to study for one semester or for the full year.).

Through its academic programs and through research of high international standard, the mission of IPAG Business School is to produce business graduates who are responsible and versatile, merging the essential values of French indigenous business with a global, multi-cultural outlook. More on Cost of Living in France

While Ipag Business School does not offer student accommodation, students can apply for a room in a student residence hall with another institution. Most of our international students however, prefer private accommodation whether they are enrolled at our Paris or Nice campuses. Ipag Business School can provide students with the details of efficient and trustworthy agencies.Housing is relatively expensive in France, but international students, like French students, enjoy the benefit of housing assistance.
