It’s Movember, the month formerly known as November, now dedicatedto growing moustaches and raising awareness and funds for men’shealth; specifically prostate and testicular cancer. I’m donating my toplip to the cause for 30 days in an effort to help change the face of men’s health. My Mo will spark conversations, and no doubt generatesome laughs; all in the name of raising vital awareness and funds forcancer’s affecting men.

Why am I concerned about men’s health?*1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime*This year 37,000 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed*1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime*26% of men are less likely to go the doctor compared to women

I invite you to join me by registering to grow or by donating to my sup-port of the Mo http://mobro.co/RichardGittens

If you want to go old school you can write a cheque payable to“Movember”, reference my name and Registration Number 2073696 and

send it to: Movember Europe, PO Box 68600, London, EC1P 1EF

Funds raised will help make a tangible difference to the lives of others.Through the Movember Foundation and our men’s health partners, TheProstate Cancer Charity and The Institute of Cancer Research, Movem-ber is funding world class awareness, research, educational and supportprograms which would otherwise not be possible.

Pinewood Studios celebrated its 75th anniversary on September30th 2011 after officially opening its doors in 1936. In this time ithas become synonymous with world class British and international

productions.

As part of the celebrations, the famous Rank clock that is mountedon the outside of the main building at Pinewood was refurbished by

the UK’s leading clock creators Smith Of Derby. On the day we had approximately 200 people attend for the unveil-ing of the clock and a reception afterwards. Ivan Dunleavy, Pine-wood's Chief Executive and Chairman Lord Michael Grade both madeshort speeches to the assembled crowd of staff, tenants, friendsand colleagues from across the film industry before officially unveil-

ing the clock.

Andrew M Smith, Group Corporate Affairs Director said:“Over the past 75 years Pinewood has been home tosome of the most iconic productions to ever appear onscreen and we are immensely proud of our heritage and

our place at the heart of the UK film industry. Howeverit’s not just about celebrating the past 75 years andlooking back – we need to keep looking to the future.

We hope that by continuingto invest in new facilitiesand infrastructure we canremain one of the leadingdestinations for film andtelevision producers for the

next 75 years."
