CONFERENCE FORMAT

Next library 2013 is the most creative

conference for open minded library

innovators and decision makers from all

over the world. Next Library 2013 intends to

inspire public libraries to new ways of

thinking regarding re-imagination, civic

engagement and collaborative innovation

with the perspectives of supporting equal

access to technology, learning and active

citizenship for all. The main purpose is to

share and co-create knowledge. Diversity,

active participation and collaboration are

key factors.

A MIX OF SPEAKERS

AND OPEN SESSIONS

The Next Library 2013 conference will be a

mix of speakers and open sessions where

participants decide what will happen.

Join nextlibrary.net

Participate in discussions; suggest

workshops, games and online sessions.

You can participate in the dialogue at the

Next Library website, even if you do not

plan to participate in the 2013 event in

Aarhus. Nextlibrary.net will be the platform

for future Next Library events.

SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS

Funds are available to support colleagues

from low-resourced countries to attend the

Next Library 2013 conference in Aarhus.

Scholarship grants are provided by funding

from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Submission deadline: March 1st.

Low registration fee: Before April 1

DKK 2500 (EUR 335).

Standard registration fee: From April 1

DKK 2900 (EUR 390).

(The amounts are exempt from VAT)

experience’.

Registration fee includes conference
