Invitation

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is an honor and a pleasure for me to invite you to attend the upcoming

5th Asian Congress of Abdominal Radiology, ACAR 2015, that will take

place in Hamamatsu, Japan, from June 19 - 21, 2015. The ACAR is

Biennial Meeting of the Asian Society of Abdominal Radiology (ASAR),

and has a short but successful history starting in Miyazaki, Japan, in

2007. The high quality of the educational and scientific content and the

expertise of the speakers and moderators have been the clues for the

success.

The ACAR Program Committee members have designed a new educational program for young abdominal

radiologists, and the scientific program which will provide you with the most advanced knowledge and the

cutting edge in abdominal radiology. The joint meeting will be the 29th annual meeting of Japanese Society

of Abdominal Radiology (JSAR) which will be organized by Professor Yasuo Takehara of Hamamatsu

University School of Medicine. Annual meeting of JSAR consists of case reports of strict image-pathologic

correlation joined by pathologic experts. I am sure you will enjoy it.The collaboration with JSAR will

guarantee a broad and generous exchange of ideas, experiences and knowledge between speakers and

participants.

I invite you to be part of the most complete and up-to-date meeting on abdominal radiology in 2015, not only

by attending the meeting but also by submitting papers and posters and thereby increasing the scientific

content of the meeting. The young investigators travel award will be established in this ACAR 2015, which

will be for who submitted abstract(s) for scientific papers or posters.

The meeting venue will be City of Hamamatsu, Japan, which has a privileged position on central pacific

coast. In northeast there is Mt. Fuji which is the highest mountain throughout Japan and the symbol of

Japan. You can recognize this beautiful mountain in the poster of ACAR 2015.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I promise you to prepare a memorable meeting for you all and I

hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you to Hamamatsu, Japan.

Hiromu Mori, M.D.Congress PresidentThe 5th Asian Congress of Abdominal Radiology
