The Presenter Mr Msomi is an MBA Investment and Corporate Finance lecturer at

GSB&L at UKZN. He has a Masters degree in Applied Finance from the

University of Southern Queensland, in Australia. He is currently doing his

PhD in Finance at Walden University in Minnesota, USA. Mr Msomi is the

Founder and CEO of Ohpis Nevets Investments and is a qualified Equity &

Derivative Dealer having spent over 10 years in stock-broking and private

banking sectors. He also serves in UKZN Senate, CEACOM and in GSB&L

Executive Committees, and is the Chairman of Intibane Investment Club.

These workshops are aimed at corporate executives, entrepreneurs, government senior level employ-

ees, financial brokers and private investors who want to advance their knowledge in investments, in

the economy and in the JSE share trading activities. The majority of the delegates are those that want

to trade their own shares & manage their portfolios. The valuation of BEE equity deals forms an im-

portant part of these workshops. The workshops could be used as an introduction to JSE Registered

Persons Examinations that are offered by SAIFM which qualify one to be an Equity Dealer on the JSE.
