Land west of the Cambridge North station is one of the last remaining significant

brownfield sites in Cambridge. It presents an opportunity to create a new sustainable City District, making a significant contribution to Greater Cambridge’s future growth needs.

PREVIOUS CONSULTATIONInitial consultation in December 2014

explored potential redevelopment options. However, odour from the existing Water

Recycling Centre significantly constrained the prospects for the area’s regeneration.

Work was therefore put on hold.
