Aim
The aim of the workshop is to provide an introduction to
the new challenging statistical method used to
synthesizing evidence for the effectiveness of multiple
interventions compared in trials. This workshop will
provide an opportunity for those who already know and
carry out systematic review and meta-analysis to learn an
extension of the pairwise meta-analysis and to be updated
with the changes that have occurred in recent years.
To whom the workshop is aimed
We recommend that people that attending the course have
a basic knowledge of meta-analysis and meta-regression.
The workshop will be taught in English. It is advisable to
bring your own notebook, which can access wireless
Internet. Access to Internet will be provided. In the
practical section STATA will be used so it is advisable
the knowledge of the software .
