Introduction
The Regional Family Violence Partnership was established in 2007.
It is a partnership between many organisations in the Eastern Region who are committed to working together to address Family Violence.
Each region, metro and rural have a Integration Partnership of services within their area.
Mission
To provide an integrated service response that priorities:
• Safety for women and children• Accountability of those who use violence• Women’s right to have control and agency over their lives and future.• The independent rights and needs of the child: and• The acknowledgement of cultural context.
Key Principles
• Feminist structural framework• Rights-based service provision• Social justice approach• Respect• Transparency• Good will• Sharing resources and responsibility; and• Continually working towards shared understanding
How?The Regional Family Violence Partnership Executive Committee is responsible for driving and monitoring the implementation of family violence integration at the region level. The committee is made up of the following key sectors: Women’s Sector Children’s Service Sector

Community Corrections Women’s Health
Eastern Community Legal Service Eastern Men Behaviour Change Consortium

Regional Integration Coordinator
Supports the ongoing functions of the RFVP through:
1. Maintaining linkages between participating agencies.2. Develop an annual plan based on State-wide and regional integration.3. Participate in capacity building projects.4. Dissemination of information locally and state-wide.5. Coordinate and resource programs, regional forums and community activities.6. Collect and analyse data for the purpose of service improvement and planning
Strategic Plan
The strategic plan sets the agenda for the following three years.
It is reviewed on an annual basis.
Practitioners have input through various pathways, including contributing to the working groups, sector groups and the annual membership forum.
