Collectively they cater to diverse market sectors with a customer base spanning across the Middle East, Europe, USA, Asia Pacific, Africa, CIS and beyond.
Our Group companies lay great emphasis on our core values such as quality, service and dependability in order to achieve our objective of manufacturing innovative and high quality products for our customers. All our companies are ISO 9001:2008 certified and follow stringent quality parameters in manufacturing goods that meet international product specifications and standards.
In the GCC, Harwal Group is the largest converter of plastic, wood and metals into finished products. Harwal Group productlines comprise of building materials, pipeline systems, electrical and plumbing systems, prefabricated solutions, packaging materials and consumer packaging products, cold rooms & refrigerators, beverages, household and commercial equipments, furniture and other relevant allied manufacturing services.
The Group also has a yacht building operation in Holland, specialized in building luxury yachts of various sizes.
The leading manufacturing group in the region.
Emirates Recycling LLC, a member of Harwal Group is one
of the leading secondary aluminium recycling company in
UAE with an annual production capacity exceeding 18,000
tons. We supply high quality secondary aluminium alloy
ingots and sows and use the latest state of the art LOTUS
technology to melt aluminium scrap and produce wrought
and cast alloys, all under a single roof. Emirates Recycling
with its wide range of recycling activities is dedicated to
sustainable development. We ensure that all our operations
are conducted within a framework that is not damaging to
the environment. We supply recycled alloys to companies
across the world catering to diverse industries.
We use filter bag system with lime injection, the state-of
art pollution control equipment, to capture and collect
particulate emissions from our operations. With a 25 metric
ton capacity side well melting and holding furnace and a
Rotary Furnace, ERL uses the world’s latest technology
of VORTEX pump and LOTUS melting system, which is
mainly used to melt light gauge scrap such as UBC (used
beverage cans). The company also has a lab facility with ARL
Spectrometer and casting machine.
Emirates Recycling Company supplies ingots and sows to
the leading manufacturers of rolled aluminum sheet, plate,
brazing sheet and extruded products for use in the aerospace,
building and construction, automotive, distribution and
transportation industry segments. Operating from our
premises in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, we have made
substantial inward investment in efficient machinery
enabling us to keep treatment charges to minimum.
IntroductionIntroduction
Used aluminium is a highly valuable resource and is rarely
lost.
Aluminium has unique recycling qualities: It can be
repeatedly recycled without impairing the quality of the
metal.
Aluminium recycling saves energy: remelting used
aluminium saves up to 95% of the energy needed to produce
the primary product.
Aluminium recycling is economical: it uses less energy and
recycling is self-supported because of the high value of used
aluminium.
Aluminium helps attain overall recycling targets: its unique
recycling potential and intrinsic value means that aluminium
is the most cost effective material to recycle. The market for
used aluminium is steadily growing. The more aluminium
there is in a product, the more chance it has of being
recycled.
Aluminium is lightweight, pliable, recyclable, resistant to
corrosion and extreme temperatures, and a good conductor
of electricity. That makes it the preferred metal for
thousands of products across a diversity of markets. At the
same time, we’re delivering new ideas and solutions that
will help build a healthier and more sustainable future both
for the planet and its people.
-Solutions that help buildings, cars, airplanes, trucks and
trains get more performance from less energy.
-Solutions that help other industries operate more efficiently
and sustainably.
- Solutions that recycle into new products, over and over
again.
At ERL, we recycle all types of Aluminium Scrap and
convert it to wrought and cast alloys according to customer
requirement. Secondary scrap is processed into 1 ton sow
and 7 Kg ingots of Alloy 3004, 3005, 3105, 5251 and 5182 in
compliance with international quality standards
Raw material:
With extensive experience in scrap metal purchasing as
per ISRI specifications, Emirates Recycling LLC scrap yard
purchases various grades of aluminium scrap and other
materials to be recycled and converted into aluminium alloy
ingots and sows.
Before we start our production process, aluminium scrap is
segregated and separated depending on the different types
and also ensure it is free from other metallic, paper, plastic,
RecyclingRecycling
cardboard materials and so on.
The scrap recovered after the segregation is treated
according to their quality and analysis. We use computer
controlled selection and mixing of scrap types to ensure that
the chemical composition is as close as possible to that of
the needed alloy.
Melting
The selected aluminium scrap is shredded, de-coated and
melted with VORTEX pump in LOTUS side well furnace.
Alloying
The molten metal is fed into a holding furnace (converter)
and the alloying processes such as purification using
charge correction, addition of alloying elements and metal
treatment are performed.
Casting
The molten aluminium is cast into ingots according to specific
customer requirements in continuous casting machine,
T-masters U.K.
Quality
Every single charge of the furnace is tested in the laboratory
using modern computer controlled analytical technology
equipment - ARL spectrometer.

INDUSTRIES
A well-established market for recycled aluminium with firmly defined distribution chains exists across the world. Typical
products made from recycled aluminium include castings like cylinder heads, engine blocks, gearboxes and many other
automotive and engineering components on the one hand, and extrusion billets or rolling slabs for the production of
profiles, sheets, strips and foil on the other. Another prominent user of recycled aluminium is the steel industry which utilises
aluminium for deoxidation purposes.
Industries ServedIndustries Served
Emirates Recycling is a services company that provides
innovative solutions to the aluminium industry. Our global
network of primary aluminum facilities produces a full line
of commodity-grade aluminum ingot, high-purity ingot and
rolling ingot. Our leadership in technology, capacity and
strategic location offers you the best possible choice of price,
quality and availability.
1 ton Ingots
Emirates Recycling produces alloy ingots weighing 1 ton and
are available for domestic or export market and are used
extensively as feed for production of aluminium alloys.
Sows
Emirates Recycling produces aluminium sows (cast blocks)
from metal recovered from processing aluminium drosses.
These are 500kg and are made specially on request.
For the various types of aluminium alloys, the major
industrial nations have their own national standards based
on the different chemical elements added, shape of the
product and the heating method used.
ProductsProducts
ERL produces a wide variety of wrought alloys and Secondary
Aluminium Alloys according to the various international
grades and shapes.

Creating a greener future
SustainabilitySustainability
Aluminum has a significant contribution to the growing green building market as it is a sustainable material which is easily
and frequently recycled. As a result of waste minimisation policies in the aluminium industry and the longevity of the metal,
75% of all aluminium smelted globally can still be traced. Emirates Recycling promotes green building principles of building
construction, with a view to effectively recycle a building’s aluminium components at the end of its life cycle , thus promoting
the use of aluminium products as the preferred building material. The recyclability and adaptability of aluminium make it a
good choice for the various industries where the metal is used.
