Former Dutch small but resources rich country. Due to its geographic location,

mining industry and drydock, Suriname has a rich industry of machinery support &

knowledge including vessel repair.

Plans to further develop a land plot adjacent to the waterfront at Smalkalden wharf

for logistics, storage, project startups, repair and value added services towards

offshore vessel & rig owners and dredging firms.

Suriname and British Guyana have significant oil

fields which are in exploration modus.

Location: Paranam, 37nm from entrance Suriname River. Good road connection

Draft: Avg 6.5m at river. At facility 12-13m @ low tide. Current avg 1.8kn

Flights: Daily direct Amsterdam and Curacao, Miami and Trinidad.

Max height: 41 meter airdraft to pass Jules Wijdenbosch bridge

Offloading: concrete quay of 73m with breasting dolphin up and shore bollards

up to 200m downstream

• FOUR locations

• Good and safe locations (ISPS)

• Strategically well located between West Africa, Brasil and GOM

• Curacao and Suriname have drydocks and technical facilities. Roatan has a small dock

and 240t travel lift. Aruba close (50nm) to Curacao and shallow offshore locations.

• For Curacao maximum 4 crew members needed of which minimum 3 will be Venezuelan

with Panamese papers and ample experience. In Suriname 2 to 4.

• Venezuelan crew (mostly ex SMIT) have ample experience and motivated

• Good flight connections all locations

• Spareparts / customs very efficient (well developed)

• In Suriname and Curacao options for landplot close to water front to be used exclusively
