IntroductionEstablished in Mackay, Queensland, in 1983, Cougar Developments has specialised in the Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, and Hospitality/Leisure property sectors as a developer, builder, and investor, active in the Mackay/Whitsunday, Gladstone, and South-East Queensland regions

Cougar Developments was established by its continuing Managing Director, John Cowley, a Registered Housing and Commercial Builder (Licence 18652) accredited with Diploma in Advanced Building Techniques and Advanced Business Management

Cougar Developments is a highly respected developer and builder with a proven reputation for delivering consistently high quality projects

Through associated corporations, John is the owner of numerous Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Retail, and Hospitality/Leisure properties, including the 4½-Star Mackay Grande Suites Hotel, which he developed in 2007

Cougar’s small but efficient management team is responsible for all Development Management, Construction Management, and Property Management functions, supported by an experienced Administration team
