Introduction
CHIP Training & Consulting – CTC (Private Limited) emerged as the dynamic training
and consulting arm of Civil Society Human & Institutional Development Programme
(CHIP) in Pakistan in the year 2007. Although the company was launched as an
independent consultancy firm fairly recently, its roots go back to 1993 when it was
initially a Swiss NGO Programme Office (SNPO as part of SDC/Embassy of Switzerland)
later becoming an independent non-profit organization, namely CHIP. Having been
CHIPs resource center, providing trainings and knowledge management services in
the field of project management, organizational development and other
developmental thematic areas, CTC started functioning as an individual entity
becoming a successful management consultancy in its own right. CTC today holds
two decades of experience in Capacity Building and Institutional Development
whereby it has worked with multilateral and bi-lateral organizations, international
donors & NGOs as well as public and private sector organizations and civil society
representatives like UNDP, UNICEF, Muslim Aid UK, Red Cross (German and Canadian),
Plan Pakistan, Catholic Youth, Oxfam GB, EPI, Action Aid, FAO and Save the Children
to name a few. The underlying interest of the organization is to provide services that will enable sustainable
development, growth and improvement throughout Pakistan for the long term betterment
and progress of all segments of society. Towards this end, CTC prides itself on its proven
experience of community work and diagnostic abilities to identify root causes and prescribe
solutions particularly through guidance, coaching, advice and consultative processes. In
addition to technical backstopping CTC has demonstrated expertise not only to design and
conduct trainings and workshops for public and private sector clients but also to provide its
valuable support in conducting result oriented surveys, baseline studies, monitoring &
evaluation, and administrative as well as financial management services. Its involvement in
various projects geared towards uplifting the socioeconomic status of communities across
Pakistan from the grass roots level to its strategic inception are a testimony to its contribution
towards societal development.
Vision: Our vision is to ensure optimum performance
of client organizations through efficient and effective
services for their beneficiaries.
