Good morning my dear brothers and sisters in Christ! Welcome to this Eucharistic

    Celebration.

Today we celebrate the feast of St. Thomas, the apostle of Jesus Christ.

n todays Gospel, the encounter between Jesus and St. Thomas is a great reminder to all

of us that through the gift of faith we, too, are able to recogni"e the presence of the risen #ord in

our personal li$es. The %oly Spirit re$eals the #ord Jesus to us and helps us to grow in

&nowledge and understanding of God and his ways. Through the gift of faith we are able to

proclaim that Jesus is our personal #ord and our God. %e died and rose that we, too, might ha$e

new life in him. The #ord offers each of us new life in his %oly Spirit that we may &now him

personally and wal& in this new way of life through the power of his resurrection.

Today as we celebrate the 'irst 'riday of the month, we commemorate Jesus suffering in

the cross that all of us may be sa$ed. #et us than& God in this mass with great humility and
