STARTUP CASE STUDY - MVP
Vapar
Startup grant helped artificial intelligence technology
to find faults in stormwater and sewage pipelines.
• In June 2018, MVP funded the company with a Minimum
Viable Product grant, helping them to advance their
prototype to take to market, with the support of the Northern
Beaches Council.
• A SAAS platform that uses computer vision and machine
learning to automate manual reviews for defect identification
of CCTV footage taken from small diameter sewer and
stormwater pipes.

The MVP grant allowed us to build the beta version of our product and experiment with different approaches. This led to our first paid projects that resulted in wider customer adoption.
