Signature software features that make the bellavista unique
Settings assist
Use Settings Assist to see ventilation changes before you apply them. Changes in timing, cycling and I:E ratio can be easily overviewed and support you in choosing the best settings for your patient.
Smart user interface
Use the touch screen to access our quick start menu to begin ventilation. Easily configure settings to support your daily patient routine and display desired home screen parameters. bellavista can store up to 20 configurable user profiles with 3 always available on screen for quick access. Our system delivers you the ultimate flexibility so you can focus on the essentials.
AnimatedLung
Use this dynamic tool to visualize the patient’s lung condition at a glance. The simple graphical interface helps highlight changes in the patient’s lung condition by showing various states of compliance, resistance and spontaneous breathing activity.
VentSummary
VentSummary displays an overview of the most relevant weaning criteria, such as spontaneous breathing, PEEP and pressure support. The limits can be individually configured. As soon as the patient’s respiratory parameters are within the desired range, Vent Summary switches to green and a timer indicates how long the patient maintains your specific extubation criteria.

Advanced synchronization
Available for Invasive (IV) and Non-Invasive (NIV) ventilation. NIV is supported by the below synchronization tools to deliver high fidelity therapy, synchronized to every patient’s breathing pattern. It recognizes the patient’s expiratory effort immediately, thus helping to reduce the work of breathing and breath-stacking. The inspiratory and expiratory triggers adapt to variable leaks to maintain optimum performance.
Smart software working behind the scenes deliver auto.sync, auto.rise, auto.leak. These features ultimately work together to support patient safety and comfort.
auto.sync
Releases the patient from a fixed or manual expiratory trigger setting to optimize synchronization during spontaneous breathing. To ensure a smooth transition from inspiration to expiration, auto.sync detects and calculates several criteria with a high sampling rate.
auto.leak
Automatically and adaptively balances highly variable inspiratory and expiratory leaks up to 120 L/min. This feature and our sensitive flow or pressure trigger prevents failure and synchrony problems for your patient.
auto.rise
Adapts and optimizes rise time with a breath-by-breath calculation and prevents overshoot to relieve you from the challenge of finding the correct rise time for your patient.
