The iSert® Preloaded IOL Implantation System now provides easier handling and greater protection of the IOL

— Safety: an untouched IOL in a disposable, closed preloaded iSert® system for ultimate sterility, reduced lens damage, and reduced exposure to contaminants.

— Efficiency: easily repeatable and disposable system that reduces the time-consuming aspects of inserter preparation, cleaning, and sterilization. Cuts the number of steps required with ordinary procedures in half.

— Predictability: ergonomic design provides consistent, controlled, and safeguarded delivery of the preloaded IOL that is predictable and reproducible.

— Unique Design: A unique hybrid, one-piece, two-material design with non-stick PMMA haptic tips and the sharpest square edge provide rotational stability and controlled centration for more consistent IOL calculations and improved refractive outcomes. Precise astigmatism correction with proprietary Aspheric Balanced Curve (ABC) design that restores image sharpness and visual acuity even when lens is decentered over 0.2mm.

— HOYA Optics: Pristine optics – the result of our proprietary lathe-cut, pad polished manufacturing process means higher optical precision.

— Mini-INcision: The non-wound-assist benefit of as low as a 2.2 mm incision reduces residual post-operative astigmatism.

Better Measurement for Better Toric IOL Results Enhance lens placement and minimize postoperative astigmatism

— IOL Suggestions: The HOYA Toric Calculator will suggest several HOYA Toric IOLs from which you may choose to treat a patient’s refractive cylinder resulting from corneal astigmatism. Astigmatic correction will be calculated for all toric lens powers and a non toric lens as well.

— Axial Placement: The Calculator will suggest intra-operative axial placement of the IOL that is intended to minimize postoperative astigmatism.

— Visualizing the Placement: Along with the recommended axis for TIOL placement, the Calculator provides an image of the eye with the incision location, steep and flat corneal axis, and the axis of placement for the TIOL.
