Interview Tips:

Dear Candidate kindly note that the interview may be either a face-face ie..student and IFBI faculty or it could be between student-IFBI faculty-ICICI HR(who will join through phone..telephonic).

Some key thing which you should prepare before appearing for the interview.

1. Tell me about yourself.(pls note to introduce yourself well as this is the first question hence you can create a good impression if this answer is good. Please don’t have to stress on points like your village name, schools name, father/mother name…etc, remember that the job is for you and not for your parents or siblings, talk about yourself and your interests, and why you have choosen banking sector (be specific about the reasons why you are choosing banking sector).PLEASE TALK ABOUT POINTS WHICH ARE NOT IN YOUR CV, DON’T REPEAT SCHOOLS, MARKS COLLEGE PERCENTAGES ETC..ALL THESE ARE AVAILABLE WITH US.

2. Kindly go through last 1 week’s newspapers and see what are the current topics or headlines.3. Go through your graduation books if you are an engg then be prepared on some basic questions

to be asked. Please re-collect your project done, we will ask you questions like a) what was the project based on ; b) what was your role in the team ; c) what is the use/application of the project..etc

4. We will also check banking basics like,a) what is a bank def; b) what are the various products of a bank; c) what are the roles in a bank…all these are available on google kindly browse.

5. Try to remember instances in your life where you have exhibited qualities like …a) DETERMINATION where you faced a difficult situation and how did you overcome that talk about your family how your parents worked hard to give you education and how you want to do well in life now ; b) CHALLENGES faced in your life etc.

6. Main try to be loud and confident, have a pleasant smile on your face and remember you need to have HIGH ENERGY AND enthusiasm very important.

7. Brush up on general awareness questions like prime minister, CM, home minister union and state level, defense minister educational minister etc…

Remember that we are checking 4 things.

1. Communications in English2. Attitude/body language/ energy levels/confidence/willingness to take up challenges/willingness

to take up bank jobs3. Subject knowledge of what you studied as well as basics of banking and why banking sector(try

to re-collect seminar and be specific)4. General awareness.
