• Have an adult around • Carefully select websites to visit

– Adults should block unwanted websites with passwords

• Don’t click on things that pop up• NEVER give out any personal information

time.

How Do You Find Information

Searching Information

• Make sure that all the sites you go to are appropriate for you and your age

• If a website has a password blocking it, don’t try to open it…it is probably not okay for children

• Remember that not all information on the internet is true.

• Ask an adult to help you find information that is true

• NEVER search for information without an adult present
