Strong Passwords

• Use at least 8 characters

• Use phrases, not words

• Use upper and lower case

• Avoid writing it down– MEMORIZE!!!

• Change it if someone finds out

• Use different passwords for different sites

• Change them often!

• A young man used the internet to solicit and abuse 19 children, between the ages of 8 and 15– He assaulted some victims and subjected

others to indecent behavior between September 2007 and July 2009

• January 15, 2010 – 15 year old Phoebe Prince commits suicide due to cyber bullying on Facebook
