• Intranet Obstruction Evaluation/Airport Airspace Analysis

• “Obstruction Evaluation” – Refers to the FAA’s responsibility to determine

whether a proposed construction or alteration would cause a hazard to air navigation.

• “Airport Airspace Analysis”– Refers to evaluations and analyses that are

specifically on Airports

• The iOE/AAA system– Is a Geographic Information System (GIS) and

web-based, intranet case management application

– It provides the FAA with an efficient and reliable process for:

• Obtaining data• Plotting geographic coordinates• Performing measurements• Making decisions

• FAA personnel across a range of divisions:– Air Traffic– Airports– Airway Facilities– Flight Procedures – Flight Standards– Frequency Management
