Purpose & ContentThe one day workshop is designed to build intercultural awareness and tolerance among the organisation’s staff members.

Working in a multicultural organisation with global clients demands high degrees of cultural flexibility and understanding. To navigate effectively through a variety of values, traditions, customs and relations and to work across continents and borders it is essential that all staff members are culturally self aware and socially intelligent.

In the globalized market our business prosperity depends on our ability to interact and work respectfully with team members and successfully match our clients cultural preferences without abandoning our individual cultural heritage.

During the workshop you will gain insight into the dynamics of culture, values and stereotyping. You will become aware of the national differences and codes of conduct which govern our daily interaction.

The workshop involves a key speaker, group exercises and experiential learning.

Participation in the workshop is for everybody and it constitutes the basic framework for the optional modules.

Customers and suppliers are becoming increasingly more demanding and focused and consequently end up taking control determining both price and delivery terms. Today’s negotiators are focused on long term relationships which requires a win-win approach.

Purpose & ContentThe seminar will perform an in-depth analysis of the legal and contractual issues needed to administer international contracts and focus on managing potential risks.

During the seminar you will be presented with the typical pitfalls and contractual aspects which can obstruct the realisation of ambitious construction projects in our international practice. The trainers will focus on FIDIC and other international contract standards and provide you with knowledge, models and tools to contain damaging risks and familiarise yourself with assessment procedures. During this seminar you will update your knowledge of essential elements when working with international contracts and you will touch on essential elements like country specific requirements and legislative restrictions in contracts, financial and commercial requirements, contractor and subcontractor agreements, international trade law, planning regulations, copyrights and royalty management, fee recovery and other issues.

The course will inform you on the most critical elements of international contracts and provide your with procedures to administer financial and legal issues pertaining to contract management.

Purpose & ContentThe Nordic countries share a long and common history of commerce, wars, kingdoms and legacies that connect us to a shared background of traditions. In many aspects we consider ourselves similar but below the surface we differ – immensely.

When we assume and exercise unconscious incompetence we can create misunderstandings that can handicap projects and long term cooperation. We will map the differences as well as discuss the strengths this can bring to the outcome. This seminar will give you valuable insight into the cultural differences which can heavily affect a prosperous cooperation between members of the Nordic countries. You will learn what is important for each nationality and how to spot national preferences when working in the Nordic region.

The seminar will explore how to participate in building a working culture characterized by inclusion and void of ‘them versus us’ attitudes. On this seminar you increase tolerance and self awareness and learn intentional inclusive communications and actions. Purpose & ContentThis seminar will update your knowledge about key elements in the building codes and national regulations on some of our current markets.

In our continuous internationalisation we need to familiarise ourselves with normative standards, typical work flows, national requirements or special conditions which could significantly impact how we create our project designs, generate aesthetic ideas and finally realise our projects. These seminars will provide basic introductions to the central elements which could aid project realisation both in project development and project management.

We work in a multicultural organisation and with more than 15 different nationalities we can use our in-house expertise for ongoing knowledge sharing. One of your colleagues will give you a two hour introduction to one of the countries special conditions via video link. The activity takes place after work and will give you an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the national requirements of your colleagues’ countries.
