Important checklist for “SET TEST” registration :

1. Passport size photo in .jpg, .jpeg or .gif format (file size should not be more than 100 kb)

2. Marks in SSC and HSC (Please choose "Appeared" in case you are awaiting results

this year)

3. Choice of Test (you will not be allowed to change the test after the registration is

completed)

A student may register for one paper in the morning; viz, Law and one paper in the

afternoon session; viz, General .

Fill in the details requested on the page displayed:

Name, Gender, Blood Group, DOB, Category (Wards of

serving / retired defense personnel' applicable only for SLS Pune, SICSR and SCMS

Pune) ;

Address; Mobile Number; Phone Number; Email ID;

Class Xth Marks ; For Class XIIth – mention “Appeared”

Under “Institution preferences”, choose your Test Session Slot:

• Morning session : For Law / Design / None

• Afternoon session : General / Engineering / Health Science / None

BBA/ Mass Comm/ BCA Candidates should select –“General”

You can select both Morning and Afternoon session if you plan to appear for Law as well as Management / Mass Comm/BCA programme

• If you are opting for “Law programs”;

Select your campus amongst Pune , Noida & Hyderabad (New

campus)

Select your Program – BA LLB or BBA LLB

• If opted for “General”, select your Campus from –

SICSR – for BCA

SIMC-UG – For Mass Communication

SSE – For Economics

SCMS Noida – BBA Noida Campus

SSLA - Liberal Arts

SCMS Pune – BBA Pune Campus

formats, More than 10 kb up to 100 kb)

1. In the next page, choose your password (Password

should be alphanumeric between 6-15

characters)and Hint Question.

2. The screen will now display your SET ID.

3. After successful registration, you will get an email

containing your SET ID and password.

4. Use this SET ID for all future correspondence.

5. Next Page is Payment Section.

Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.1500/- . You have 5 choices of payment

modes.

1. ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH CREDIT CARD:

You may pay directly through either Master or Visa card online. Follow the

instructions on the website. You can also pay the application fee for various

institutes through credit card.

2. ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH NET BANKING:

You may pay your SET test fee from the list of banks to Symbiosis Test

Secretariat account. You can also pay the application fee for various

institutes through internet banking option.

3. ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH INDIAN BANK NET BANKING:

You may pay your SET test fee to Symbiosis Test Secretariat account. You can also pay the application fee for various institutes through Indian Bank Internet Banking option.

4. CASH PAYMENT:

You can select the option of Payment through AXIS Bank / Indian

Bank and take the print out of the Challan. This Challan has 3 parts.

Pay Rs. 1500/- in cash at AXIS/ Indian Bank branch in your city. The

bank will return two parts of the Challan to you. One of them is the

receipt for you.

Sign the Symbiosis copy of the Pay-in-slip and send it to the

Collection Centre at,

5. DEMAND DRAFT:

Get a demand draft for Rs. 1500/- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis

Test Secretariat" payable at Pune.

Write your SET ID and name at the backside of the DD. Choose the mode of

Payment as DD in "Make Payment" Tab and click "Submit". Take a print of the

payment advice form, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test

Secretariat only at,

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the payment details and will

send you an email confirming the payment for SET 2016. Only after the payment

is authenticated, would you be able to view your Admit card.

Important Information post Online Application

process:

• Once the payment is done Registration process is

complete.

• “Admit card” can be printed directly from the SET

website from April 23, 2016 (Saturday) 11:30 am.

• A Candidate should carry the admit card and a

photo identity to the test center.

• Please ensure that your latest passport size, colour photograph is pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided for and duly attested by Gazetted Officer before appearing for test.

• It will be authenticated during the Test.

• Candidates should preserve the authenticated admit card till the admission processes of the desired Symbiosis institutes are over. If the

admit card is lost, no duplicate admit card will be issued.

How to apply to Undergraduate Institutes of Symbiosis

International University?

Candidates can apply online for admission to an undergraduate

institute of the University. The application fee is approx. Rs. 1000/-

(Information will be displayed after 5 Feb 2016).

There are two options to apply for admission to an institute:-

1. From SET website.

While paying SET fees online, a candidate may also pay the

application fee for admission to a desired institute.

Even after closing of the payment for SET, a candidate may still

apply through SET website.

2. From individual institute website.

A candidate may also register separately for SET and applying to an institute. However, SET registration and appearing for the test is mandatory.

A student cannot apply to an institute that does not accept the score of the test that he chose to give. For example, if he chose to give the General test only, he cannot apply to SLS. Similarly, if he chose to give the Law test only, he cannot apply to SSE or SCMS (UG) or SICSR.

A candidate can give both tests and apply to all the four institutes.
