AUGUST 29- SEPTEMBER 2 CONFERENCE TOPICS The 12 th ICCP is expected to be of significant benefit to practicing and research engineers. Papers and conference presentations are being solicited for a wide range of topics focused on comprehensive, current, and emerging concrete pavement technology, and related to the mission of the ISCP: “To further engineering and technical education, scientific investigation, and research in all areas related to the concrete pavements.” 100 PAPERS are anticipated and 10 WORKSHOPS are planned. Specific areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Design of concrete pavements Concrete pavement materials Concrete pavement construction Preservation of concrete pavements Concrete resurfacing solutions/concrete overlays Rehabilitation of concrete pavements Pavement performance prediction and evaluation Durability of concrete pavements Techniques for analysis Pavement economics and life-cycle cost analysis Concrete pavement sustainability and LCA Innovative design methods Testing, instrumentation and sensing Pavement surface characteristics Concrete pavement performance and asset management PAPER SUBMISSIONS & PEER REVIEW All potential authors are invited to submit an abstract online on the 12 th ICCP website by September 30, 2020. The primary author is required to pre-register for the Conference before the paper will be included in the proceedings and program. All manuscripts submitted, and all related poster boards and presentations must be original —not previously published—and must not be of a commercial nature. Each submission will be peer-reviewed by members of the Conference Steering Committee’s ‘Technical Paper/Program Review Subcommittee’. Selection of papers will be based on suitability of the topic, quality of the paper, and near-term applicability of the subject to practice. The Subcommittee will make all final presentation and publication decisions. Please see the list of Due Dates to the right and on the paper submission page. The International Society for Concrete Pavements (ISCP) has rescheduled the 12 th International Conference (12 th ICCP) to be held August 29 through September 2, 2021 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot. The 12 th ICCP will carry on the series of international conferences begun in 1977 by Purdue University. In 2001, ISCP became the organizer, starting with the 7 th ICCP in Orlando, Florida. This international conference is traditionally held every 4 years, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, government-mandated “stay-at-home orders”, and unknown end date(s), the 12 th ICCP has been postponed one year—5 years after the very successful 2016 11 th ICCP in San Antonio, Texas. The focus of the 12 th conference will be to present information on new technologies related to the design, construction, and rehabilitation of various types of concrete pavements.
