Dear Members, dear Colleagues and Guests,

As president elect I want to invite you together with Franz Resch, chair of the scientific committee, to the conference of the International Society of Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology (ISAPP) taking place in Berlin 2011 from September 14 to 18 September 2011.

As the topic of the conference ‘Adolescence – a second chance. Development – Attachment – Neurobiology – Trauma – Psychodynamics – Treatment’ indicates, a broad spectrum of actual scientific findings and issues concerning the care for adolescents will be presented.

Adolescence with its specific challenges has been neglected in research as well as in diagnostics and therapy for a long time. In the lights of data that half of the psychiatric disorders of adults have their onset in youth the question if adolescence may be a second chance is not only important from a developmental perspective but has implications also for therapists, supporting systems, society and policy. The conference dealing with themes between normality and pathology shall bring together well-known experts in the field and profes-sionals working with adolescents in health care.

We would be delighted to welcome you to discuss these important topics in Berlin, a fascinating city with its history, social tensions and cultural highlights.

FORMAT DESCRIPTIONS

Plenary LecturesDuration: 150 minEminent experts will present papers on the congress’ main topics.

Main SymposiaDuration: 90 minOn three congress days the main symposia will be held in the morning. In the afternoon, subsequent to the state of the art lectures in the plenary hall, there will be more main symposia.

State of the Art LecturesDuration: 45 minOn three congress days state of the art lectures from the field of psychiatry, psychotherapy and psycho-somatics in adolescence will be held simultaneously. There will be time for discussions.

SymposiaDuration: 90 minIn the symposia two to four lectures will be held.

Free PresentationsThe free presentations will be selected by the Scien-tific Committee after abstract submissions have been reviewed. The free presentations will be integrated in the core programme by topic. The time slot for a single free presentation varies from 15 to 30 minutes including discussion time.

PostersEach accepted poster will be exhibited at the con-gress on Thursday, September 15 and Friday, Sep-tember 16, 2011.

The poster authors are asked to set up their posters on Thursday morning and dismantle them earliest at noon on Saturday.

On Thursday and Friday there will be guided poster tours in the lunch breaks. For this purpose the pos-ters will be sorted into thematic groups.

At the assigned time interested people and the au-thors will gather at the first poster of a thematical group. The guided poster tours will give the authors the opportunity to present their findings and discuss them with the audience.

WorkshopsDuration: 90 minWorkshops serve as a platform for conveyance and discussion of methods and procedures in hospital and research. A workshop should ensure intense preoccupation with a specific topic from adolescent psychiatry or psychotherapy. To ensure that, the number of participants per workshop is limited to 25.

GENERAL INFORMATION

All applicants are hereby called to submit their ab-stracts for contributions to the 8th Congress of ISAPP by using the online submission form on the congress website www.isapp2011.org. The abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and may be selected for oral or poster presentation. Accepted abstracts will be published online on the congress website www.isapp2011.org.

The following formats are possible for submission:> Oral Presentations> PostersOral presentations and posters submitted individu-ally and accepted by the Scientific Committee will be group ed by category topics into thematic sessions in order to promote communication among the pre-senters and participants and to allow for inspiring discussions. As the distinction between oral presen-tation and poster is only a matter of presentation mode, submissions in the 2 categories will be as-sessed by the same criteria of scientific merit. The Scientific Committee will de cide upon the final mode of presenta tion. Please note that publication of each abstract is conditional upon payment of the registra-tion fee. Upon payment, each participant will receive a password to access the ab stracts online prior to the congress.

Guidelines for SubmissionSubmitted abstracts will not be edited in any way. Thus, typographic and grammatical errors that ap-pear in a submitted abstract will still appear in the published abstract.

Authors are requested to conform to the following guidelines for submission of abstracts.> The abstracts are to be submitted in English, the

official language of the congress.> The abstract submission constitutes a formal com-

mitment by the author to present the correspon-ding presentation in the session and time slot as-signed by the Scientific Committee.

> Changes in authorship should be communicated to the Congress and Exhibition Office in order to ensure correct appearance in the printed final pro-gramme.

> If the original presenting author is unable to pre-sent, one of the co-authors should take over this responsibility.

We encourage submitting authors to register via the online registration system along with the ab stract submission. The acceptance of abstracts by the Scientific Committee does not include any financial assistance or registration fee reduction. Much to the regret of the organisers, failure to register by the pre-senting author by 31 January 2011 will imply that the abstract will not be included in the final pro-gramme and will not be published on the congress website.

Notification of acceptance or rejection by the Scien-tific Committee will be mailed to the presenting author. Detailed information, guidelines and recom-mendations for oral and poster presentation, as well as time allotment, date, hour and room will be sent in Spring 2011 to registered authors.

Congress LanguageThe official language of the 8th Congress of ISAPP 2011 is English. Simultaneous translation will be probably provided only in the main conference hall. French and German speaking symposia are expected.

Technical Equipment of the Meeting RoomsAll lecture halls are equipped with PC data projec-tion. Only Power-Point presentations will be provi-ded during the sessions. Guidelines for presentations such as production of PC-charts will be published on CO CONGRESS ONLINE®.

Please note: A presentation from an own laptop is not possible. Only data on a CD ROM or a USB-stick will be accepted (no multisession; IBM PC format or compatible).

GUIDELINES FOR THE PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS

> Please choose a title that clearly indicates the con-tent of the contribution.

> Please avoid abbreviations in the title. Abbrevia-tions may be used in the text if they are defined when used first.

> The author’s name (full first name, family name) and place of work (institution, city, country) should be given. Degrees, titles, street addresses and acknow-ledgements of support should be omitted, however.

> The abstract submission must be complete. Please choose one or two topics from the list. The text of the abstract should briefly state: Objectives (in-dicate the purpose of the study or the hypothesis that was tested), Methods (include the setting for the study, the subjects, the diagnosis or interven-tion, and the type of statistical analysis. If referen-ces are needed, they should be given in the text), Results (present as clearly as possible the outcome of the study and statistical significance if appro-priate) and Conclusions (briefly discuss the data and emphasize the significance of the results).

> The length of your abstract is limited to a maxi-mum of 400 words.

> Please ensure that the abstract does not contain spelling, grammar or scientific errors, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted.

LETTER OF INVITATION

The congress organisation will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation letter for visa purposes. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the congress to provi-de any financial support.Letters of invitation may be requested from the con-gress office no later than 14 July 2011. The invitation letters will be sent by regular air mail. In case an ex-press delivery is needed, the delegate shall order a courier at his / her expense.

TRAVEL TO BERLIN

Berlin is easily accessible by airplane, railroad and car. Congress participants arriving at one of the two international airports, Berlin-Tegel or Berlin-Schöne-feld, can reach the congress venue Technische Uni-versität Berlin or the city centre easily. Both airports are linked to the public transportation system. Germany and Berlin have an extensive rail network with Euro-City, Inter-City and Inter-City Express trains. An excellent motorway network links Berlin with all major German and European cities.

The congress office has reserved a sufficient number of hotel rooms at hotels in various categories and price ranges nearby the congress venue. The catego-ries vary from four star hotels to two star hotels. The hotels are located in the city centre. The congress venue can be comfortable reached from all hotels by public transport, particularly the U- and S-Bahn train network. Berlin attracts many tourists, so please make sure to secure your hotel room and get a special congress rate by book ing through CPO HANSER SERVICE as soon as possible. Liebe Mitglieder der Internationalen Gesellschaft der Adoleszenzpsychiatrie und -psychologie, Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,Liebe Gäste,

zusammen mit Franz Resch möchte ich Sie herzlich zum Kongress der International Society of Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology (ISAPP) einladen, der vom 14. bis 18. September 2011 in Berlin stattfindet.

Das Leitthema ‘Adoleszenz eine zweite Chance?’ mit seinen verschiedenen Perspektiven auf die Entwick-lung – Neurobiologie – Psychodynamik – Behandlung – Trauma im Jugendalter bietet ein breites Spektrum an hochinteressanten Themen aus wissenschaftlicher Forschung, Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie von Jugend-lichen.

Adoleszenz mit ihren besonderen Bedingungen wurde über eine lange Zeit hinweg sowohl in der Forschung als auch in der Diagnostik und Psychotherapie vernachlässigt. Vor dem Hintergrund der Tatsache, dass die Hälfte der psychiatrischen Erkrankungen Erwachsener in der Jugendzeit beginnen, ist die Frage, ob die Ado-leszenz eine zweite Chance sein kann, nicht nur aus entwicklungspsychologischer Perspektive wichtig, son-dern hat auch Bedeutung für Therapeuten, Versorgungssysteme, die Gesellschaft und die Öffentlichkeit. Der Kongress, der sich mit Adoleszenz zwischen Normalität und Pathologie befasst, führt renommierte Wis-senschaftler und Experten aus verschiedenen Forschungs- und Praxisfeldern zusammen, die mit Jugendlichen in unterschiedlichen Institutionen arbeiten.

State-of-the-Art-Vorträge Dauer: 45 MinutenZu wichtigen Themen aus den Bereichen Psychiatrie, Psychotherapie und Psychosomatik des Jugendalters finden an drei Kongresstagen jeweils drei parallele State-of-the-Art-Vorträge statt. Diskussionen sind möglich

Symposien Dauer: 90 MinutenIn den Symposien werden zwei bis vier Vorträge ge-halten.

VortragssymposienFreie Vorträge werden in Form von Referaten (15 – 30 Minuten Vortrag inklusive fünfminütiger Diskussion) präsentiert. Die Programmübersicht finden Sie auf Seite 7. Das wissenschaftliche Komitee fasst die an-gemeldeten freien Vorträge in Vortragssymposien zusammen.

PosterDie Poster werden auf dem Kongress von Donners-tag, 15. 9., bis Samstag, 17. 9., durchgehend gezeigt.Die Posterautoren werden gebeten, die Poster am Donnerstagmorgen aufzuhängen und frühestens am Samstagmittag abzunehmen. Am Donnerstag und am Freitag finden in den Mittagspausen jeweils Posterbesichtigungen statt. Hierzu werden Poster in thematischen Gruppen zusammengefasst.

Zu den angegebenen Terminen finden sich Interes-senten und Posterautoren am ersten Poster einer thematischen Gruppe ein. Jeweils am Poster erhalten Posterautoren die Gelegenheit, die wesentlichen As-pekte zusammenfassend zu erklären und auf Fragen zu antworten.

Workshops Dauer: 90 MinutenDie Workshops dienen insbesondere der Vermittlung und Diskussion von Methoden und Vorgehenswei-sen in Klinik und Forschung. Ein Workshop sollte die intensive Beschäftigung mit einem jugendpsychia-trischen oder -psychotherapeutischen Thema inter-aktiv erlauben. Um dies zu ermöglichen, wird ein Workshop auf 25 Teilnehmer begrenzt.

ALLGEMEINE INFORMATIONEN

Alle Bewerber werden gebeten, Ihre Abstracts als Beitrag zum 8. ISAPP Kongress über die Kongress-webseite www.isapp2011.org online einzureichen. Alle Abstracts werden vom Wissenschaftlichen Bei-rat geprüft und können entweder als freier Vortrag oder als Poster eingereicht werden. Akzeptierte Ab-stracts werden auf der Kongresswebseite veröffent-licht: www.isapp2011.org.

Folgende Formate von Abstracts können einge-reicht werden:> Freie Vorträge> PosterIndividuell eingereichte und vom Wissenschaftlichen Beirat akzeptierte Vorträge und Poster, werden in Themengruppen eingeteilt und in thematischen Sit-zungen zusammengefasst, um die Kommunikation zwischen Vortragendem und Zuhörern zu fördern und Diskussionen anzuregen. Da sich die beiden Vortrags-arten lediglich durch ihre Präsentationsart unterschei-den, werden eingereichte Beiträge nach den gleichen Kriterien ihres wissenschaftlichen Wertes beurteilt. Das Wissenschaftliche Komitee wird die endgültige Präsentationsart festlegen. Mit der Anmeldung eines wissenschaftlichen Beitrages ist die Teilnehmergebühr für den ISAPP Kongress fällig. Nach Zahlungseingang erhält jeder Teilnehmer ein Paßwort für den Zugang von Congress Online.

Freie VorträgeDie Beiträge werden nach der Prüfung durch den Wissenschaftlichen Beirat ausgewählt. Sie werden nach Themen in das Kernprogramm integriert. Ein Zeitfenster für einen freien Vortrag variiert zwischen 15 und 30 Minuten inklusive Diskussionszeit.

PosterAlle freigegebenen Poster werden während des 8. ISAPP Kongresses in der Zeit von Mittwoch, 14. September bis Samstag, 17. September 2011, in den Foyers der TU Berlin ausgestellt.

Richtlinien für die Einreichung eines BeitragsEingereichte Abstracts werden nicht nachbearbeitet. Folglich werden Rechtschreib- und Grammatikfeh-ler, welche im eingereichten Beitrag vorhanden sind, auch in der veröffentlichten Version auf der Web-seite erscheinen. Autoren werden gebeten sich an die folgenden Richtlinien zur Einreichung eines Bei-trags zu halten.

> Alle Beiträge müssen in englischer Sprache, der of-fiziellen Kongresssprache, eingereicht werden.

> Mit der Einreichung eines Beitrags verpflichtet sich der Autor, den Beitrag in dem ihm vom Wissen-schaftlichen Beirat zugewiesenen Zeitfenster vor-zutragen.

> Änderungen der Autoren sollten dem Kongress- und Ausstellungsbüro mitgeteilt werden, um eine korrekte Nennung im gedruckten Kongresspro-gramm zu gewährleisten.

> Sollte es dem Autor nicht möglich sein, seinen Bei-trag persönlich zu präsentieren, sollte ein Co-Autor diese Verantwortung übernehmen können.

Wir bitten einreichende Autoren sich zeitgleich mit der Einreichung für den ISAPP Kongress zu registrie-ren. Die Teilnehmergebühr ist zusammen mit der Ein-reichung eines Redebeitrages zu zahlen. Akzeptierte Abstracts durch den Wissenschaftlichen Beirat sind keine Zusage für eine finanzielle Unterstützung oder Reduktion der Kongressgebühr. Beiträge, die nach dem 31. Januar 2011 eingereicht werden, können zum großen Bedauern des Veranstalters, leider we-der im Kongressprogramm, noch auf der Kongress-webseite veröffentlicht werden.

Der Autor erhält eine Benachrichtigung über An-nahme oder Ablehnung seiner eingereichten Arbeit. Detaillierte Informationen, Richtlinien und Empfeh-lungen für freie Vorträge und Poster, sowie die Zuwei-sung von Präsentationsdatum, -uhrzeit und -raum an regi strierte Autoren, wird im Frühjahr 2011 erfolgen.

KongressspracheDie offizielle Kongresssprache des 8. ISAPP Kongresses ist Englisch. Im Auditorium Maximum wird voraus- sichtlich eine Simultanübersetzung angeboten. Französisch- und deutschsprachige Symposien wer-den erwartet.

Technische Ausstattung der KongressräumeAlle Lesungssäle sind mit PC-gebundener Datenpro-jektion ausgestattet. Während der Sitzungen wird es ausschließlich PowerPoint-Präsentationen geben. Richtlinien für die Erstellung von Präsentationen, wie beispielsweise Schaubildern und Diagrammen, werden in CO CONGRESS ONLINE ® zugänglich sein. Bitte be-achten Sie, dass die Präsentation nicht über einen ei-genen Laptop erfolgen kann. Es werden ausschließlich Daten von CD-ROM oder USB-Stick akzeptiert (keine Multisession Discs; IBM PC Format oder kompatibel).

RICHTLINIEN ZUR VORBEREITUNG DER ABSTRACTS

> Bitte wählen Sie einen Titel, der klar den Inhalt des Beitrags definiert.

> Bitte vermeiden Sie Abkürzungen im Titel. Sie kön-nen Abkürzungen im Text verwenden, sofern die-se bei erster Verwendung erklärt werden.

> Der Name des Autors (Vollständiger Vorname, Nachname), sowie die Arbeitsstätte (Institution, Stadt, Land) sollten genannt werden. Akademi-sche Grade, Titel, Adressen und Danksagungen sollten weggelassen werden.

> Die Einreichung muss vollständig sein. Bitte wählen Sie ein oder zwei Themen aus der Liste. Der Text des Beitrags sollte folgende Punkte kurz erläutern: Zielsetzungen (Deuten Sie den Zweck der Studie oder die untersuchte Hypothese an), Methoden (Beziehen Sie den Rahmen der Studie, die Subjek-te, die Diagnose oder das Einschreiten und die Art der statistischen Analyse ein. Verweise sollten im Text genannt werden), Ergebnisse (Präsentieren Sie so deutlich wie möglich die Ergebnisse der Studie und die statistische Signifikanz, wenn sach-gemäß) und Schlussfolgerungen (Diskutieren Sie kurz die gewonnen Daten und betonen Sie die Signifikanz der Ergebnisse). Das endgültige Kongressprogramm und sämtliche Abstracts werden auf der Kongresswebseite in CO CONGRESS ONLINE® veröffentlicht. Das endgültige Kongressprogramm wird zum Kongress an alle regis-trierten Teilnehmer ausgegeben.

EINLADUNGSSCHREIBEN

Die Kongressorganisation freut sich den Kongress-teilnehmern einen formalen Einladungsbrief „Letter of Inivitation“ für Visumzwecke zukommen zu lassen. Die Einladung soll den Kongressteilnehmern ermög-lichen, finanzielle Unterstützung oder ein Visum zu erhalten. Dies stellt jedoch keine Verpflichtung des Kongresses dar, dem Teilnehmer finanzielle Unter-stützung zu gewähren. Das Einladungsschreiben kann spätestens bis zum 14. Juli 2011 beim Kongress-büro erfragt werden. Die Einladungsbriefe werden per Post versendet. Falls eine Eilzustellung erforder-lich ist, kann der Kongressteilnehmer einen Eilboten auf seine eigenen Kosten bestellen.

VISUM

Die Einreisemodalitäten und die Schutzimpfungs-bestimmungen für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland schwanken entsprechend dem Heimatland des Teil-nehmers. Hinsichtlich spezifischer Informationen werden die Kongressteilnehmer gebeten, mit ihrem lokalen Reisebüro oder mit dem deutschen Konsulat im Heimatland in Kontakt zu treten. KLIMA

Das Klima in Berlin ist während des Spätsommers mild. Im September ist die durchschnittliche Tagestempera-tur zwischen 11 °C und 20 °C. Regen ist möglich.

ANREISE NACH BERLIN

Berlin ist gut per Flugzeug, Eisenbahn und Auto zu erreichen. Die Kongressteilnehmer, die auf einem der zwei internationalen Flughäfen, Berlin-Tegel oder Berlin-Schönefeld ankommen, können den Kongress- ort Technische Universität Berlin oder das Stadtzent-rum leicht erreichen.

Beide Flughäfen sind über öffentliche Verkehrsmittel mit dem Stadtzentrum verbunden.

Die Eröffnungsveranstaltung wird am Abend des 14. September 2011 um 18.00 Uhr in der TU Berlin stattfinden. Anschließend werden alle Teilnehmer ein-geladen, an der Welcome Reception teilzunehmen.

RAHMENPROGRAMM

Während des 8. ISAPP Kongresses bietet CPO HANSER SERVICE verschiedene Touren in und um Berlin für die Kongressteilnehmer und Ihre Begleit-personen an.

Alle Touren werden von einem englischsprachigen Reiseleiter begleitet.

C’est avec Franz Resch que j’ai l’honneur de vous inviter au Congrès de l’International Society of Adolescent Psychiatry and Psycholgy (ISAPP) qui aura lieu à Berlin du 14 au 18 septembre 2011.

Le sujet principal «L’adolescence, une deuxième chance?» avec l’accent mis sur, par exemple, le développe-ment – la neurobiologie – la psychodynamique – le traitement – le traumatisme, propose un grand spectre de sujets dans les domaines de la recherche scientifique, de la psychiatrie et de la psychothérapie des jeunes.

L’adolescence, accompagnée de ses conditions particulières, a été pendant une longue période délaissée aussi bien dans le domaine de la recherche que dans celui du diagnostic et de la psychothérapie. En se référant au fait que la plupart des maladies psychiatriques des adultes ont leur origine dans la jeunesse, on peut se poser la question si l’adolescence ne peut pas représenter une deuxième chance du point de vue de la psychologie et du développement, mais si elle n’a pas une grande signification pour les thérapeutes, les systèmes de soins, la société et le public.

Le Congrès, ayant pour sujet l’Adolescence entre la normalité et la pathologie, réunit des scientifiques de renom venant de différents domaines de recherche et des experts qui travaillent avec des jeunes dans des cliniques, des institutions et dans leur propre cabinet.

Nous serons heureux de vous souhaiter la bienvenue à ce Congrès de grande importance ayant lieu à Berlin, ville ayant une histoire particulière, vivant avec ses contradictions sociales et culturelles et ses highlights.

Symposiums principaux: Durée: 90 minutesPendant les 3 journées de la durée du Congrès, trois symposiums auront lieu pendant la matinée et d’autres conférences principales se tiendront l’après-midi après les conférences State-of-the-Art et ce en salle plénière.

Conférences State-of-the-ArtDurée: 45 minutesElles concernent les domaines importants de la psy-chiatrie, de la psychothérapie et de la psychosoma-tique de l’adolescence.Trois conférences parallèles State-of-the Art se dé-rouleront au cours des trois journées du Congrès, avec possibilité de discussions.

SymposiumsDurée: 90 minutesIl y aura de 2 à 4 conférences pendant les sympo-siums.

Symposiums-ConférencesLes conférences libres seront présentées sous forme d’exposés succincts (discours de 15 – 30 minutes avec une discussion de 5 minutes).Les conférences libres seront regroupées en sympo-siums-conférences par le Comité Scientifique.

PostersLes posters seront présentés pendant toute la durée du congrès, du jeudi 15 septembre au samedi 17 septembre. Les auteurs de ces posters sont priés de les accrocher jeudi matin et de les décrocher au plus tôt samedi midi.

Des visites d’exposition de posters se tiendront jeudi et vendredi pendant les pauses-déjeuner. Les posters seront regroupés par sujets. Leurs auteurs ainsi que les intéressés se retrouveront devant le premier pos-ter d’un groupe thématique.

Les auteurs des posters auront alors l’occasion de résumer les principaux aspects et de répondre aux questions.

AteliersDurée: 90 minutesLes ateliers ont vocation, en particulier, à transmettre et à discuter des méthodes et des procédés / modi dont les cliniques et la recherche se servent. Un ate-lier devra permettre une approche intensive, de fa-çon interactive, d’un sujet relevant de la psychiatrie et psychothérapie pour adolescents. Dans ce sens, les ateliers sont limités à 25 personnes.

Vous pouvez déposer vos abstracts dans les for-mats suivants:> Discours libres> PostersLes abstracts ou posters que vous aurez individu-ellement déposés et qui auront été acceptés par le Conseil Scientifique seront regroupés par thèmes et résumés lors de séances thématiques et ce afin d’animer la discussion et la communication entre le conférencier et les auditeurs. Du fait que les deux genres de conférence ne se distinguent que par leur présentation, les contributions au Congrès que vous aurez déposées seront jugées selon le même critère, à savoir celui de la portée et de la teneur scienti-fiques. Le Comité Scientifique décidera de la présen-tation définitive du résumé ou abstract. Nous vous demandons de vous acquitter des frais de participa-tion au Congrès ISAPP dès votre inscription à une Contribution Scientifique. Afin de déposer votre ar-ticle au Congrès en ligne, chaque participant recevra un mot de passe après le règlement des frais.

Conférences libresLes contributions au Congrès seront choisies par le Conseil Scientifique. Elles seront intégrées dans le programme fondamental. La durée d’une confé-rence libre varie entre 15 et 30 minutes, durée de la discussion comprise.

PostersTous les posters acceptés lors du 8ème Congrès ISAPP ayant lieu de mercredi 14 septembre à samedi 17 septembre 2011 seront exposés dans le foyer de la TU Berlin.

Directives concernant le dépôt d’une contribu-tion au CongrèsLes abstracts ou résumés que vous aurez déposés ne peuvent pas être modifiés. Les fautes d’orthographe et de grammaire figurant dans l’article apparaîtront alors dans la version publiée sur le site.

Nous prions les auteurs de respecter les directives concernant le dépôt des contributions au Congrès.> Tous les articles doivent être écrits en anglais,

langue officielle du Congrès. > En déposant une contribution au Congrès, chaque

auteur s’engage, pour la présentation, à respecter l’horaire indiqué par le Comité Scientifique.

> Les modifications apportées aux rédacteurs des articles doivent être communiquées au Bureau du Congrès et des Expositions afin de garantir une désignation correcte et exacte du Programme du Congrès sous sa forme imprimée.

> S’il est impossible à l’auteur de présenter person-nellement sa contribution au Congrès, un co-au-teur pourra se charger de cette responsabilité.

Nous prions les auteurs qui déposeront une con-tribution au Congrès de bien vouloir s’inscrire et s’enregistrer en même temps au Congrès ISAPP, et de régler les frais de participation.L’autorisation par le Comité Scientifique de présenter un abstract ne comprend aucun soutien financier ou réduction des frais de Congrès. Les contributions au Congrès déposées après le 31 janvier 2011 ne pour-ront être publiées, au grand regret des organisateurs, ni dans le programme du Congrès ni sur son site Internet. L’auteur recevra un avis sur l’acceptation ou le refus du travail qu’il aura déposé. Les informations détaillées, les directives et les recommandations pour les conférences libres et les posters, de même que l’attribution de la date, de l’heure et de la salle de présentation, seront communiquées aux auteurs enregistrés au printemps 2011.

Langue du CongrèsLa langue officielle du 8ème Congrès ISAPP est l’anglais. Une traduction simultanée est prévue dans l’Auditorium Maximum. Nous nous attendons à ce que des symposiums aient lieu en allemand et en français.

Equipement technique des salles du CongrèsToutes les salles où les conférences auront lieu seront pourvues d’ordinateurs munis de vidéo-projection. Il n’y aura que des présentations Power Point pen-dant les séances. Les directives pour la fabrication des présentations telles que les graphiques et les dia-grammes seront accessibles dans le CO CONGRESS ONLINE ®.Nous attirons votre attention sur le fait qu’une pré-sentation ne pourra pas être faite au moyen de votre ordinateur portable personnel. Seules des données sur CD-ROM ou sur clé USB seront acceptées (pas de disques multisessions ni d’ordinateurs format IBM ou compatible)

DIRECTIVES PRÉCÉDANT LE DÉPÔT D’UN ABSTRACT

> Choisissez SVP un titre définissant clairement le contenu de votre contribution au Congrès.

> SVP, n’employez pas d’abréviations dans le titre. Vous pouvez utiliser des abréviations dans le texte, dans la mesure où celles-ci seront expliquées au début.

> Le nom de l’auteur (prénom complet, nom patro-nymique), de même que le lieu de travail, (institu-tion, ville, pays). Ne pas faire figurer titres, titres académiques, adresses et remerciements.

> Le dépôt de la contribution au Congrès doit être complet. Nous vous prions de choisir un ou deux sujets de la liste. Le texte de la contribution au Con-grès devra expliquer certains points: Objectifs: (faites allusion à l’objectif de l’étude ou à l’hypo-thèse dont il est question). Méthodes: (Inclure le cadre de l’étude, les sujets, le diagnostic ou l’inter-vention et la manière dont se déroule l’analyse sta-tistique. Les références devront être citées dans le texte) Résultats: (Présentez aussi clairement que possible les résultats de l’étude et l’impact statis-tique, si cela est approprié) et Conclusions: (dis-cutez de façon succincte les résultats obtenus et mettez l’accent sur la signification des résultats). ENREGISTREMENT AU CONGRÈS


CONFIRMATION DE LA PARTICIPATION AU CONGRÈS

Dès que le paiement des frais de participation au Congrès sera enregistré, le Bureau du Congrès vous fera parvenir une confirmation qui vous servira de facture ou de reçu. Apportez cette confirmation au Congrès SVP et présentez-la au Guichet des Enre-gistrements (Counter) quand vous irez chercher vos documents.

ANNULATION DE LA PARTICIPATION

Dans le cas d’une annulation de votre participation au Congrès, nous vous demandons d’en faire part au Bureau du Congrès CPO HANSER SERVICE. En cas d’annulation avant le 1er juillet 2011, les frais de par-ticipation au Congrès vous seront remboursés, moins 25% pour les frais de traitement. Si l’annulation a lieu après cette date, aucun remboursement ne pourra être effectué. Faites part de votre annulation au Bureau du Congrès, par écrit seulement.

Le programme définitif du Congrès sera publié pen-dant l’été 2011 sur le CO CONGRESS ONLINE ®. Vous pourrez alors établir votre programme personnel pour le Congrès.

LETTRE D’INVITATION

L’organisation du congrès aura le plaisir d’envoyer une lettre d’invitation formelle ‘Letter of Invitation’ aux participants qui en auront besoin afin d’obtenir un visa. L’invitation a pour but de donner aux par-ticipants la possibilité d’obtenir un soutien d’ordre financier ou bien un visa. Cela ne signifie pas, pour l’organisation du congrès, l’obligation de soutenir financièrement les participants. Vous pouvez de-mander au Bureau du Congrès l’envoi de la lettre d’invitation et ce jusqu’au 25 avril 2011. Les lettres d’invitation seront envoyées par avion. Si une distri-bution exprès est souhaitée par le participant, celui-ci supportera, à ses frais, la taxe d’intervention d’un porteur spécial.

VISA

Les modalités et dispositions d’entrée dans la Répub-lique Fédérale d’Allemagne et les consignes de vacci-nation diffèrent selon le pays d’origine. Afin d’obtenir de plus amples informations spécifiques, les partici-pants son priés de s’informer auprès de leur agence de voyages ou de contacter le consulat allemand de leur pays d’origine. Le site du Ministère des Affaires Etrangères peut mettre d’autres informations à votre disposition: www.auswaertiges-amt.de.

ASSURANCES

Nous attirons votre attention sur le fait que les droits de congrès ne comprennent pas d’assurances. Chaque participant doit veiller à souscrire l’assurance dont il a besoin. Nous vous conseillons vivement de contracter une assurance santé et accident.

MONNAIE

Les paiements en EUROS sont acceptés.

CLIMAT

Il fait doux à Berlin à la fin de l’été. La moyenne de température en septembre varie entre 11 °C et 20 °C. Il se peut qu’il pleuve.

ARRIVÉR À BERLIN

Vous pouvez facilement arriver à Berlin soit par avion, par train ou en voiture. Les participants au Congrès qui arrivent à l’un des deux aéroports inter-nationaux, soit Berlin-Tegel soit Berlin-Schönefeld peuvent accéder aisément au lieu du Congrès, l’Université Technique de Berlin ou au centre ville. Les deux aéroports sont reliés au centre ville par des transports en commun.

L’Allemagne et Berlin ont un réseau ferroviaire bien développé: Euro-City, Inter-City et Inter-City Express. De plus, on peut facilement aller dans toutes les villes allemandes et européennes en empruntant les auto-routes dont le réseau est bien développé.


HÔTELS

HÉBERGEMENT EN HÔTEL

Le Bureau des Congrès a réservé des chambres dans différentes catégories de prix (de 2 à 4 étoiles) pour les participants au Congrès.Les hôtels se situent au centre ville. On peut facile-ment aller à la TU Berlin en utilisant les transports en commun et en particulier la S-Bahn ou la U-Bahn (métro). Nous vous prions de réserver votre hôtel en même temps que votre inscription au Congrès via le Bureau du Congrès CPO HANSER SERVICE. Veillez à obtenir une chambre à un tarif préférentiel par l’intermédiaire du CPO HANSER SERVICE, car beau-coup de touristes visitent Berlin et les contingents de chambres libres sont vite épuisés. Nous vous prions de réserver votre chambre d’hôtel et d’effectuer en même temps votre inscription au Congrès, et ce en ligne sur le site www.isapp2011.org.

Chaque participant recevra une confirmation indivi-duelle de sa réservation sur laquelle figureront le nom et l’adresse de l’hôtel, après réception des don-nées de sa carte de crédit.

Les sociétés sont priées de bien vouloir réserver pour leurs participants le contingent de chambres en pas-sant par le CPO HANSER SERVICE, et ce préalable-ment au Congrès.

En cas d’annulation et / ou de modifications, nous vous prions de contacter le Bureau du Congrès seule-ment par écrit, dans les meilleurs délais.
