How does it work?
Surveys and ResearchThe findings of a survey will give you independent, empirical data which can be used to inform and shape strategy and/or reinforce the benefits of your product/service; this acts as a key differentiator in an increasingly competitive market. Each project we undertake is customised to your requirements.
The Question Set
• We work together to refine the appropriate questions – this helps us derive the information you wish to extract.
Analysis
• We analyse the findings and draw insightful conclusions.
Purpose and Scope of the Project
• Are you looking for data that supports your strategy?
• Are you looking for independent evidence to showcase your proposition?
• What do you want the outputs to be (how many of the following steps do you want to take)?
Target Audience
• How many respondents?• What is their profile (e.g. geography,
company type, job function, seniority)?
Survey and Data Collection
• We host and promote the survey to ensure we generate response data against the targets you set.
Production, Promotion and Distribution
• Whether you’re looking for a write-up with graphs and charts from the analysis, or an infographic portraying the most salient information, we can tailor the outputs and use any of our channels to share this information with the wider industry.

Content MarketingContent marketing is a growing part of the media mix for most businesses. Companies produce a wide range of assets, including whitepapers, case studies, videos and webinars, which are created to better showcase a product or service.
Too often, this content remains under-utilised and businesses fail to track who is engaging with their content.
We can help you bridge that gap by using our website, social, and email channels to extend the reach of your content to our engaged community.
We will host your content within your complimentary company hub and use a variety of methods to promote these assets. Gated pieces will benefit from lead generation (name, company, job title, email address and location).

Can you describe the development of the Green TJS-C?
We are entering an era of ‘green’ transportation where passengers wish to travel without a negative climatic impact. Swedavia has a goal to be carbon-neutral by 2020. They had an old fleet of vehicles primarily working with gasoline and diesel which were using a third of Swedavia’s fossil CO2 emissions. Aebi Schmidt cooperated with Swedavia and Volvo group to create a carbon-neutral towed jet sweeper – the Green TJS-C. The prototype was completed in 2010 and we delivered a full series of 29 carbon-neutral machines to Swedavia in October 2014.
What is revolutionary about the Green TJS-C?
The Green TJS brings together sustainability and economy in airport snow removal for the first time. All our TJS machines are made for fast, effective, and intensive cleaning of runways, taxiways, aprons and supply roads and the Green TJS is no different. High working speed and manoeuvrability are the key issues of this product.
Airport operators are
happy about any reduction of CO2 emissions and airports are increasingly looking for solutions to improve their CO2 balance. Because the pollutant balance also provides information about how efficiently a company operates, conclusions can be drawn about the energy and resource consumption. There is also political pressure here and the climate debate does not stop with airports and airport operators.
The Green TJS is powered by Volvo engines and fuelled by a mixture of biogas and biodiesel but as it does not differ in power from other TJS machines operating with a conventional Volvo engine, nothing will change for airport operators or ground handlers in terms of performance. The machine is equipped with an efficient airport snow plough which produces snow- and ice-free surfaces. The hydraulically-powered sweeping unit is located under the supporting frame and can be locked lengthwise for transport while the blower unit generates a lateral air flow of up to 145 metres-per-second over the complete width which blows away the snow across the runway. The Green TJS can operate without refuelling
for over six hours and is capable of working in difficult weather conditions over longer periods. Depending upon snow quantity, it can work at a speed of up to 50 km/h.
What feedback have you received from Swedavia to date?
The airport operator had its first Green TJS working for one winter season at five of 10 airports across Sweden. Using biodiesel they experienced a reduction of 20% in fossil CO2 emissions. For the 2016/17 winter season Swedavia will use biogas and biodiesel and have calculated that they should reduce CO2 emissions by 60-80% using the Green TJS. Swedavia has been happy with our partnership and we have maintained a good dialogue with them – as we do with all our customers – particularly regarding the functionality, comfort and usability of the machines we supply.
Aebi Schmidt is dedicated to providing a tailor-made service to its customers, is this approach crucial to the company’s on-going success?
Our Total Lifetime Care (TLC) ethos sets us apart from
other suppliers. To that end in November 2016 the ASH Group won the covered Best Manufacturer award at the annual Airport Operators Associations awards. The award took into consideration performance and excellence of the products but also customer service, delivering processes and after-sales. We are proud of the award and the appreciation by the international judging panel. Decades of know-how, continuous spirit of innovation and an open ear for the needs of our customers represents the key to our success. That award is an incentive for us to further meet the high demands of our airport customers and to always be one step ahead with our solutions.
CHRISTIAN STRYFFELER is CCO Markets & Sales Global for ASH
Group’s Airport Business. He has several years of international experience in successful company integration, the restructuring of company shares and corporate turnaround. Following 14 years of involvement in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, Christian gained 11 years of experience in the mechanical engineering industry before joining ASH Group in 2016.
I N T E R V I E W SPOTLIGHT
