EXHIBITIONSMaria Gossè – UndressedFotografienes Hus, 2nd March – 2th March, 12:00-16:00Maria Gossé presents a series of portraits of burlesque artists. The project is an exploration of identity, self-staging and sub culture. One is a receptionist. Another one works in a clothing store. The third one has a master's degree in Japanese and Chinese, and a fourth is a kindergarten teacher. What do they have in common? They love glitter, and to get undressed on stage. The artists are photographed in the clothes that they use on stage, but in their own homes. Gossé started to work with the Norwegian burlesque community three years ago and has since explored the community both through documentary photography, documentary film and Polaroid photos. The entrance is free of charge. Address: Rådhusgata 20

The Commonly Owned – Oslo Municipality's art collectionKunsternes Hus, until 27th MarchThe exhibition “The commonly owned” presents a concentrated selection from the art collection of Oslo Municipality, which totally consists of 20 000 works. The exhibition's title refers to the capital's art collection as something that is owned by all its inhabitants. This is the art that people meet in public spaces: in schools, public baths, libraries and nursing homes, in parks and outdoor spaces, and which everyone relate to in some way or another. The exhibition reflects the interaction between art, architecture, urban spaces and the city's population, and tells a story about the development of Oslo as a modern capital. Through points of impact in the municipality's collection from the end of the 18th century and up until today, the exhibition sheds light on the significance of art in urban development and what "the common owned" implies: socially, politically and culturally. Tickets purchased on site.

Vijay Iyer and Craig TabornVictoria, Nasjonal jazzscene, 10th March at 21:00Experience two of the world's best jazz pianists on stage – at the same time.“Too much of the good thing can be wonderful!” said Mae West. When we now get two of the world's foremost jazz pianists on stage - at the same time – it is maybe wrong to say that it is too much, but it is going to be wonderful! Vijay Iyer and Craig Taborn are good friends, the same age and on each side virtuoso pioneers. Occasionally, they find time to have concerts like this: an otherwise empty stage, two grand pianos, and two modern masters with deep respect for each other and an almost supernatural communication. Vijay Iyer was the Artist in residence at the Molde Jazz festival last summer with a magical concert and a definite highlight. Click here for tickets.Address: Karl Johans gate 35
