About Us

WPI WELLKIN INC. is a Pearland, TX based corporation founded to supply well servicing and drilling equipment. We meet

customers' demands utilizing our experienced oilfield personnel, in house engineering capabilities and commitment to

service. With close proximity to the Port of Houston, we serve both the domestic and international markets.

Our product line consists of hydraulic tubing tongs, hydraulic sucker rod tongs, tubing spiders, hydraulic power units and rig

floor handling tools. We also offer design, testing, project management, rig-up, retrofit and commissioning services.

Through our associate companies, we provide everything from daily consumables and spares to fully equipped rig packages.

Power Unit We supply tubing tong, casing tong and drill pipe tong power units or units to drive

drill pipe make/break systems, drill pipe roughnecks, wireline units, hydraulic

winches, jack up cylinders, rotary tables, pickup/laydown machines, pipe rackers or

multiple functions combined in a complete rig floor power unit. Electric hydraulic

power units are available for standard shop service up to Class 1, Division 1

(explosion proof) units. Diesel hydraulic power units are also available. We handle

open or closed loop systems, skid mounted or trailer mounted units for high or low

temperature/cold weather applications. Each unit is custom fit to the customer's

application. All systems are provided with technical manuals including operating

instructions, assembly drawings and hydraulic/electrical schematics.

A sample list of units is below. Maximum flow and pressure do not occur at the same time. Flows are rated at 60 Hz.

Make-Up/Break-Out Tool and Drill Pipe Tong T-WREX: Pedestal mounted, remotely operated, make-up/break-out tool. Allows operator to safely control all tool

functions from a remote mounted console. Complete with horizontal and rotation (270°) positioning controls.

HAWKJAW: Hanging, locally operated, drill pipe tong. Allows operator to safely control all functions from console mounted

on the tool.
