BRAZIL STUDIOSÃO PAULO, BRAZIL MDes TRANSCULTURAL DESIGN / BRAZIL STUDIO

Located in the heart of a downtown campus, the Brazil Studio offers a bilingual program that allows an

accelerated acculturation the Portuguese language and the Brazilian context.

This MDes program, leading to the master’s level degree (Diplôme de design) certified by the Ministry of

higher education, deals with topics related to social and environmental issues (mobility, health, distribution,

education, food, access to energy, waste management, environmental issues) and its specific characteristics

(high population density, multiculturalism, natural resources and local crafts, democratic construction ...).

Beyond the acquisition of the design profession skills through the experimentation of project management and

an international career.

SÃO PAULO: A GLOBAL METROPOLIS IN A CONTINENT-SIZED COUNTRY

A cultural and economic capital, São Paulo is a vibrant megalopolis

with over 20 million inhabitants divided between its neighborhoods

like so many cosmopolitan villages.

Students will primarily be living and working in the neighborhoods of

Higienopolis, Bela Vista, Vila Madalena or Pinheiros which are some

of the liveliest and most popular. Given the size and scale of the city,

each district has its own unique characteristics which makes São

Paulo a one-of-a-kind playground and field of investigation.

LIVING AND STUDYING IN SÃO PAULO

With a hundred or so museums, countless arts centers and festive

events (including the carnival) throughout the year, living in this multi-

faceted megacity is a rewarding and unique experience.

São Paulo may well be a cosmopolitan city, but speaking Portuguese

INDIA STUDIOPUNE, INDIA MDes TRANSCULTURAL DESIGN / INDIA STUDIO

he MDes Transcultural Design / India Studio encourages the exploration of different cultures within an applied,

interdisciplinary context.

This program provides a unique opportunity for young designers to specialize in Social Innovation and Design

Thinking. In India, our students learn how to use design for positive social impact on humans and businesses

and to better understand the global perspective on design. Students will have to comprehend the Indian

market and familiarize themselves with the local behaviors to offer a coherent project, adapted to users, with

an anthropological approach to design.

Program taught in English
