Think this is a really intersting poster. However, the issue of rasing awremenss of racism will need to be handled very sensitively particuarly given the murder of the Indian student earlier this year and the recent attacks on Chinese students in Sydney.

• New International sub-committee for 2011-12 – organised Chinese New Year event in 2012, Holi celebrations

• Volunteering & Charity work – Japan Tsunami appeal

• Distinguished Delegation Award for the 2011& 2012 SURHUL PIR Society at the National Model United Nations Conference at the UN Headquarters in New York City

• Market Day with specialist Asian food produce

• Encouraging international students to participate fully and actively

• Accommodating the different needs of diverse groups of students

• Organising events which are inclusive to all

• International Student Engagement plan

• Internationalisation of the Students’ Union agenda
