Practical Information Beside the shimmering Lake Pichola, Udaipur has arguably the best setting for a romantic getaway. While most of the old city can be explored on foot you might want to take auto-rickshaw rides to travel longer distances and you must definitely take a boat ride in the scenic lake Pichola. Although extremely safe during the wee hours of the night, may we suggest that you walk around the city in bigger groups to be on the safer side.
