The 21sst century skills in classroom instruction is expected to be
able to develop a generation that is capable of mastering academic
and possessing excellence personality in the workplace and life.
It is aimed to enrich students’ lives with a complete well balanced
education.
The environment will develop them into enterprising individuals
with resilience and virtuous character to handle the challenges
ahead of them.
Rentak Budaya Mini Orchestra is one of the ethos of
SK Jalan 3, High Performing School. It was formed in
2007, with 40 members who are not only skilled and
talented but also charismatic and boosted with
confidence and soft skills. Whether it is in the
classroom, at school and in the presence of society,
at a national level or even international level, the
team has managed to mesmerize their audience as
they perform on stage.

Intensive training
Rentak Budaya Mini Orchestra
Formal Teaching & Learning of Music Education for 30 minutes a week in the classroom
Application of knowledge & skills learnt during extra co-curricular activities in the evening for 2 hours a week
Traditional musical instruments are merged with the modern musical instruments facilitated by 3 skillful music teachers, 2 alumni & inspired by the head teacher

from mouth to mouth marketing not
only amongst local community and
now become one of the most popular
benchmarking visits destinations at
national and international level
especially from Asian Pacific and
Middle East countries. Including
invitational performance during
Malaysian Higher Education
Promotion, Embassy of Malaysia-
Indonesia to perform at Crown Plaza
Hotel, Jakarta, as shown in Photo 2.
Integrated with National Blue Ocean
Strategy (NBOS), the students are not
only groomed to be successful
marketable young musicians but also
good academic achievers, first class
mind and global outlook with self
rooted.
